Strange feeling

James POV:
Im at the bangers and mashups competition and its insane! We are just getting ready to preform. Eldon starts his dance. Hes amazing at it! When he finishes the results are released.
'The winner of the second round is...The Next Step!'
That means we're onto the final round of the second part! Theres four parts with three rounds in each. We just have to win seven more rounds to win the competition. Thats gonna be alot of work!
We leave the stage and wait for the final round.
I ring Riley to see if she is available to talk. It goes to answering machine.
'Hi. This is Riley. I cant come to the phone right now so please leave a message. If this is James, dont even worry about it!'
I cut the call and smile to myself. Its cute the way she uses my catch phrase in her answering machine. I miss her so much.
I go back to the guyes.
'Where were you?' Eldon asks.
'Trying to ring Riley but there was no answer'
They nod.
We go and do the next round and win! Again!
Im so pumped! This means that we're onto the third part of the competition! This is the best day ever!
Rileys POV:
I sit in my office and go through some paperwork. Been studio head is super stressful. You have to find time to sort out paperwork, competitions, choreography and make sure all the dancers are okay and are in good health. I could really do with some help right now. Alfie walks in.
'Hey. Just wondering if you wanted help with anything?'
Wow. That was fast!
'Yes actually. Could you make sure that A troupe are all warmed up and just get them to sign their names on this peice of paper so I can see who is definatly going to be at regionals?' I ask handing him a peice of paper.
'Sure' he smiles.
I smile at him as our eyes lock. That weird feeling comes again. His eyes are so dreamy. They are just sooo beautiful...
Stop Riley!
I snap out of my daydream.
'Thanks' I say as he leaves. This cant be good. Whats wrong with me?!!!
I look at my phone and see a missed call from James. I ring him back.
'Hello?'
'Hey James. Sorry I missed your call'
'Its cool. Whats happening there?'
'Not much'
'Really?'
'Well alot. Its just been so stressfull trying to sort everything out'
'You could ask someone to help you'
'Alfie kindly offers now and again'
'Whos Alfie?'
'Hes new here. He said he saw our duet at internationals'
'Oh'
I sigh.
'Whats wrong?'
'Will we ever be able to do that again?'
'Yeah. I mean we'd have to choreograph it and stuff but yeah'
I laugh.
'You know what I mean!'
'Some day we will. Dont worry'
'Hows the competition going?'
'Great! We won the second part and have two parts left to go with six dances'
'Cool. Well Im glad to know that your having fun'
'Yeah'
We stay in silence.
'I really miss you' he says.
'I really miss you too. But youll be home again soon. Your aunt Cathy is getting married. Remember?'
'Oh yeah'
'Do you know what date?'
'No. Probally some time next month or the month after'
'Yeah. Probally. Well I gotta go. I have alot of stuff to finish of here'
'Yeah okay. Just dont stress too much over the whole studio head thing. They are all there for you and will help you. I think your doing an amazing job'
'Thank you and congrats with the competition'
'Thanks baby. Love you'
'Love you too'
I cut the call. Im so glad that James is doing well in the competition. I just hope he wins it.
'Riley? They signed the paper and are just getting ready to start practice' Alfie says walking in.
'Okay thanks' I say taking the paper from him.
I look at him and we lock eyes. Again. Whats happening to me!
'Am well you should probally go and rehearse' I tell him.
'Okay' he smiles walking off.
Why do I feel like this everytime that Im around him?
I just hope that I stop feeling like that because its not a good thing to be feeling.
