Rileys POV:
Im in the kitchen reading a magazeen when the door bell rings. I answer it. Its James and his family.
'Hi Riley. Mind if we come in?' Deboradh asks.
'Sure'
I step aside as they walk into the house. I look at James. His head is down.
We sit down in the kitchen. My mom and Emily are with us.
'Id like to make an announcement' Deboradh says.
'Ive been offered a job and Ive decided to take it!'
'Thats amazing! Where is it?' I ask.
'Thats the other part. Its in England'
'ENGLAND!' Em screeches.
'WHAT!'
'I know this is a shock but its a good job'
'Whos going with you?' my mom asks.
'James and Kevin'
I look at James. That would explain why hes so down looking. He looks at me.
'I...Ill be back in a minute' I say getting up and leaving the room. I run outside to get some air. I cant believe that this is happening! I feel a hand on my shoulder.
'You okay?'
'Yeah. I just needed air'
'It will be okay'
'How? Your moving to England! How will it be okay?!'
He grabs me and pulls me in for a hug. I burry my head in his chest.
'Shhhh. Youll see. Everything will work out' he says.
I look at him.
'But how?'
Tears started falling. He wipes them away.
'I dont know baby but they will. Trust me'
I hug him.
'Now lets go back in with a smile and when we're gone you can let the tears fall'
I laugh and nod.
'Okay'
We go back in and sit down.
'You okay Ri?' Emily asks me.
'Yeah. I am now'
Its so hard to get my head around the fact that James wont always be here anymore.
Ill just have to wait and see what happens.
