Delayed plane

James POV:
We are just getting ready to leave for the airport. My mom and Kevin are ready to go while Im helping Riley to finish packing. Kevin finally came around soon later but suffered from a sevire hangover. He just recovered on time before we have to leave. I look at Riley and smile.
'What?'
'I love you'
She smiles.
'I love you too. Now help me finish packing!'
I laugh as we put her last few things away.

We are at the airport waiting for the plane. Riley is sitting on my lap as I play with her rings. An announcement goes over the speaker.
'Filght 371 from Cannada to England has been delayed. Please wait paitently and we will let you know when the flight has landed. Thank you'
Me and Riley groan.
'I was looking foward to a rest on the plane' she says.
'Well you can fall asleep now baby and Ill let you know when the plane arrives'
'Thanks James'
She puts her head into the crook of my neck and falls asleep. Her breathing is slow and gentile. Shes so precious to me and I would never want anything to happen to her.
Half an hour later we are allearted that the plane has arrived and passengers may now board. I look at Riley to wake her up, but she is so peacefull and cute and I really dont want to wake her.
'James lets go' Kevin says.
'But I really dont want to wake her' I say to him.
'Well you need to cause we gotta go'
I sigh. I gently shake her and she stirs. She slowely wakes up.
'Hey baby girl. Sorry to wake you but the plane is here and we need to go' I say softly.
She nods her head and gets up off me. I hold her hand as we make our way onto the plane.
We take our seats on the plane. Me and Riley are sitting in a two seater, while Kevin and my mom sit behind us. The plane slowely takes off. Riley rests her head on my shoulder and falls asleep again. I decide to go for a rest so I place my head on hers and shut my eyes.
I cant wait to get there and start the competition tomorrow.
