New A troupe member

James POV:
I roll over to see Riley still asleep. I smile. She stirs and opens her eyes.
'Morning baby'
'Morning'
I lean in and kiss her. She smiles. I place a hand on her stomach.
'You wont be able to feel anything. Its too early' Riley says.
'I know. I just want to do it. Just so it knows Im here for it'
She smiles.
'It will always know that youll be there for it. Your its father. And nothing can change that'
I smile.
'I cant wait'
'I cant either'
'We better get ready for work' I say'
She nods. We change and make our way to the studio. We see Rose waiting outside.
'Oh. Rose. Hi' Riley says.
'Hi' she says sadly.
'Whats wrong?'
She sighs.
'I have nowhere else to go'
'What do you mean?'
'I was kicked out of my studio'
'Why?'
'We had a dance competition a few days ago and I messed up in the small group and solo round causing us to loose. I got kicked out because of it. I was hoping that maby you could let me join A troupe?'
We look at eachother.
'Come in and we can talk to Kate'
She nods. We make our way into her office. She explains her situation to Kate.
'Mmm. I see. Well we have one spot open and since youve one solo three times in a row...we'd be happy to have you join A troupe'
'Ok thank you! You wont regret it! I promise!'
'I better not! Now go and warm up'
She smiles and leaves. I pull Riley out of the office. I dont really trust Rose after what Richelle said the other day. It makes sence what she said. Who shows up like this and suddenly wants to join a troupe that you know none of the choreography, none of the people and has missed half a dance season. And regionals is right around the corner!
'What?'
'I dont trust Rose Riley. Remember what Richelle said about her. And Richelle must know her from somewhere since she is very keen on keeping an eye on her. This is a bad idea. Regionals is right around the corner and we cant afford any mess ups'
'James I know your concerned, but we need to look at the tallent here. And Rose has it'
I sigh.
'Fine. But just be carefull of her'
She nods.
We go into studio A.
'Whats she doing here?' Richelle asks.
'Rose has offically joined A troupe'
'What! No! This isnt right! Did you listen to anything I told you the last day!'
'We did. But we need tallent and shes got it'
'Oh so none of these people has tallent?'
'Richelle dont start! This is the decision and now we stick with it! From the top nice and slow so Rose can pick it up!' I tell them.
Richelle needs to accept that Rose is on the team now. I dont like it either but this is what we got to do. They go through the choreo and Rose is picking it up very quickly.
'Okay guyes! Lets take a break!' Riley says. They all leave studio A. I smile at Riley.
'So am...when are we going to tell everyone?' I ask.
She looks at me confused.
'About the pregnancy?'
'Oh! Am...I dunno. Maby after regionals? When things settle down a bit?'
I smile.
'Are you sure? I mean by then youll be showing it so...'
'Your right. Maby we could have a family dinner or something and tell them tonight?'
'What about your sister?'
'We can skype her?'
I smile.
'Okay then. Tonight it is. Where?'
'Your moms place. It has the most space'
I nod.
'Ill send out the word'
'But lets keep it from A troupe. Its better our familys found out first'
'I agree'
She smiles.
A troupe walk back into the studio. We continue with rehersal.
I cant wait to see everyones face when we tell them tonight. Its going to be awsome!
