Backstage

Rileys POV:
I cant wait for the gig tonight! Its going to be awsome! Im so proud of him! Me, Amanda and Michelle are in my room getting ready. James left to meet up with the band. Theres something bothering me though and I just need to get it out there.
'Do you...do you think that James will ever ask me to...you know...marry him?'
They look at me.
'I dunno. Your relationship has been great right?'
I nod.
'Well then I dont see why not'
'Its just...we've been together for so long now and I just feel like we should get married. We've finished school and both have jobs. I love him and he loves me so I dont see why he wouldnt ask me'
'Well maby you just need to give it some time. Dont worry. It will happen'
I nod.
When we are ready we leave to go to the venue. There is alot of people there and Im so excited.
'Im going to see James' I tell them.
'Okay. See you soon'
I go off to the back of the stage and show the sequrity man the pass. He moves aside to let me through. I make my way to the room where James was. I open the door and see him getting ready with the boys. But hes shirtless. Shit.
James POV:
When Riley walks in I cant help but smile.
'Hey babe'
'H-hi' she stutters.
I smirk and her face goes all red.
'Whats wrong? Embarresed to see your boyfriend shirtless before his first gig?' I tease.
'N-no. I-um-Im just really warm'
'If you say so princess'
I put on my shirt and walk over to her.
'You excited?' I ask.
'Very'
'Come here. Check out the drum kit'
I lead her over to it. She smiles and sits herself down. She picks up the drumsticks and has a go. She gets more into it. Im so surprised. I never knew Riley could play them!
'Ri! That was awsome!'
She smiles.
'Where did you learn that?'
'Ive watched you play for three years James!'
'Thats true'
'I think we've just found our replacement!' Luke says.
'Not so fast! No one replaces the almighty James the drummer!' I smile.
She giggles.
She gets up and leaves me sit down to practice. I watch her as we play. Shes so beautiful and amazing and I love her so much.
She claps when we finish.
'You guyes are going to do awsome tonight!'
'Thanks Riley' Luke smiles.
She smiles at him.
'Well I should go'
I walk out after her.
Your beautiful tonight Riley'
She blushes.
'Thanks. Good luck'
She leans in and kisses me. She smiles and walks off. I go back into the room.
'You ready for this?' they ask.
'Yep. I just hope Riley likes it'
'Dont worry bro. She will'
'Excuse me boys. Your on in five' a lady says at the door.
We smile.
We gather our things and get ready to go on.
This is it.
Our first big gig!
