Send off

James POV:
Im in the music room drumming alone right now. Im just trying to get my head around everything that has happened in the past two months. The way I found out that Riley cheated on me, how she came over to England for a week and tried to show me she loved me, our huge fight, when we decided to become friends, aunt Cathys wedding, the slide show that Riley made for me, when we got back together, winning the Bangers and Mashups competition, been told that we were moving back here permantly, helping Riley at the studio, hearing that Alfie moved back to Switzerland because of everything that happend, Riley telling Piper that she can be dance captain, playing that prank at school on the class. Its all been a huge roller coaster and a ride that has not finished yet. We still have so much ahead of us and Im just so excited to see how it will turn out.
I get up from my drum kit and walk into Rileys office. I lean against the doorframe and smile. Shes rooting through a bunch of papers on her desk.
'Yo'
She jumps.
'Oh. Hey'
'What you doing?'
'Trying to make sure everything is filled out for Regionals. Ive signed the papers and so have the dancers. Ive sent in the applications. I have everything ready but I feel like Ive forgetten something'
'Well youve done your job. Your studio head and youve done everything that a studio head has to do'
'But I just feel so stressed. I know that Ive forgotten something' she says picking up the bowl of sweets and eating them.
I point to them.
'Leave the sweets'
She looks at me.
'James. Today is a very sweet day'
'O-kay. So your telling me your stressed?'
She nods.
'Right. Thats all I needed to know'
I turn around.
'Where are you going?'
'I have an idea' I say walking off.
I hear her say something as I do.
'Great. James has an idea. More to worry about'
I walk back to the office.
'I heard that'
She snaps her head up.
I turn around and leave. I shout back to her.
'Leave the sweets Riley!'
'James!'
I laugh.
If Riley is worried then so is the team. Im just glad I can help.
Rileys POV:
I got a text from James telling me to meet him in studio A. What is he up to?
I lead A troupe in and see James and his band set up.
'Position the speakers in a way that I can hear myself better' John says. James bends down to adjust them.
'There?'
'More to the left'
'There?'
'Right'
There?'
'Yes'
'Seriousy man?'
I smile.
I walk over to him. He hugs me.
'Whats all this?'
'Its a little surprise to send you off to regionals'
I smile.
He goes behind his drum kit and they start.

We all clap when they are done. That was amazing. He gets up and comes over and hugs me.
'Thank you. Its just what I needed'
'Your welcome. You ready for this?'
'Maby'
'Youll do great. You always do'
I smile.
Piper runs over and hugs James.
'That was awsome!' she squeels.
'Thanks Pipes. How does it feel been dance captain?'
'Awsome!'
I smile.
She runs back to her friends.
'Shes so energetic' I smile.
'She always has been. Its a thing that runs in the family!' he smiles.
I laugh.
Now Im ready for Regionals and anything that they throw at us!
