Me and Riley are sitting on the hospital bed admiring our new children.
'Have you thought of names for them?' I ask her.
'Well I know we havent talked about it much but I was thinking of Ashlyn and Dylan'
I smile.
'You come up with the most perfect names'
She smiles and I kiss her.
'Are you still going to look over the biology books tonight?' she ask.
'Ammm...well maby not tonight'
She laughs.
'Hows the hand?'
'Still sore. Im pretty sure you broke a few bones in the process'
'Sorry about that'
'Its cool. It was all worth it in the end' I say stoking the twins faces
'You want to hold one?'
I nod.
She hands me Dylan. I smile as he sleeps.
'Hes perfect' I smile.
He slowely opens his eyes.
'Ri look'
She turns her head and smiles.
'Hey little man. How was your sleep?' she smiles to him.
He colses his eyes again.
We laugh.
'Guess hes not ready to face the world yet' she smiles.
'Guess not'
We sit in silence.
'I cant believe its finally happened. We have children' she smiles.
'Yeah. We do'
She kisses me.
This is a day I will never forget.
