The beach

James POV:
I roll over on the bed and look at Riley. Shes so cute when she sleeps. I nuzzle he neck. She stirs and wakes up.
'Sorry. I couldnt help it'
She smiles.
'Its fine'
She wraps her arms around me and snuggles into my chest.
'I...am...was talking to Kate yesterday and I asked her if we could have a day off from work'
'What did she say?'
'Of course she said yes! Shes Kate!'
'Eeekkk! Thank you!' she says hugging me.
I laugh.
'Can we go to the beach? Pleeeaseee!' she begs.
'Only if you be good'
'Ill be your good little princess!'
I smile.
'Allright then princess. Lets go!'
She jumps out of the bed to get ready. I smile.
I get up and pack some things to take with us. I turn around and see Riley in a pink bikini.
She smiles at me.
'What? Never seen a girl in a bikini before?'
'Ive seen plenty in a bikini before, but not as hot as you' I say wrapping my arms around her waist. She giggles. I kiss her neck.
'Jaaames'
'Mmm'
'Not now! We need to go to the beach!'
I smile at her.
'Fine. Come on'
We leave the appartment and go to the beach. We put our things down on the hot sand and look around. She smiles at me.
'This is nice'
I look at the sea and back at her. We smile at eachother. We run down and jump into the cold water.
'Its freeeezzzing!' Riley squeels.
I laugh and splash water at her. We splash around for a while before running out with the cold of it.
We lye on the sand laughing.
'That was soooo fun!' she smiles. We sit up. A young girl comes over to us. Shes about six or seven.
'Can you play with me?' she asks Riley.
'Um...wheres your parents sweety?'
'Over there talking. I got bored so I came over here'
Riley looks at me. I shrug.
'Ill play with you for a bit'
'Yay!'
They make a few sand castles for a while. A lady walks over to us.
'Rose! There you are! Im so sorry. I hope she didnt bother you?' the lady says.
'No not at all. She was very good'
She looks at us.
'Arent you the dancers that won Internationals a few years ago?'
'Yeah we are'
'Your dance was amazing. I loved the tie breaker duet. Who did that?'
'We did it'
'Oh my word! Your amazing dancers! Rose here has recently started dancing. She saw you perform and told me to take her to dance class. She loves you guyes so much'
'Awww. Thats so sweet' Riley smiles.
She looks at me.
'And you won the bangers and mashups competition!'
I nod.
'This is the best day ever! Can I get a picture with you?'
We smile.
'Sure'
She takes out her phone and takes the picture.
'Am...could you also sign this peice of paper'
We sign it for her.
'Thank you so much!' she says running off.
'I think shes more of the fan than the child' Riley says.
'My thoughts excatly'
I lean in and kiss her.
'Hey Jiley!'
We look up to see West and Eldon.
'Yo'
'Why arent you at the studio?' Eldon asks.
'We were given the day off' I tell them.
'You mean you asked for the day off' Riley says. I laugh.
'Well! We're going into the water!' West says.
'I warn you. Its freezing!'
'I dont care! Lets go!'
They run down.
I look at Riley.
'Wait for it. Three. Two. One. Action'
'OH MY GOD! IS FREEZING! I-I CANT FEEL MY LEGS! OH MY GOD! IM TURNING BLUE!' Eldon screams.
'AHHH! SO COLD! IM GOING TO DIE FROM HYPERTHERMIA!' West aslo screams.
They come running out. Me and Riley hand them a towel each. We laugh.
'I did warn you!' I say.
'N-next t-time...w-we'll listen t-to you' West says shivering.
They put thier clothes on and sit next to us.
'This is nice' Eldon smiles.
'Do you have any sandwiches?' West asks.
I roll my eyes and take them out of the bag.
'I figured youd be here and want some so I made extra' I say handing it out to them.
'Thanks Bro' they say.
Riley leans over to me.
'How did you know theyd be here?'
'Come on Ri. Its West and Eldon'
She smiles.
'True'
I smile and hand her a sandwich.
She bites into it.
'Mmmm. This is actually really good! Hey guyes! James actually managed to make a good sandwich!'
They laugh.
'Dont I always make good sandwiches?'
'You never make sandwiches'
'Then what about that time when we had to...'
'That was me'
'But I thought I...'
'Nope'
'Oh'
They smile. Riley wraps an arm around me.
'Dont feel bad. There better than what thoes two boys would make'
'Thats true' I smile.
'Hey!'
We all laugh.
We spend the rest of the day on the beach just laughing and talking. As the sun set the boyes left leaving me and Riley alone. She snuggles into my chest as we watch it go down. Im glad we had a day off. And I know that when we go into the studio tomorrow we will be ready to face anything.
