Back from hospital

James POV:
I wake up and a rush of excitment flows through me. My mom is comming home today! I turn to Riley who is still asleep. I shake her.
'Riley! Riley wake up!'
'What! Whats wrong!'
'Moms comming home today!'
'Mmm. Thats nice' she says falling back to sleep.
'Get up! Kevin is picking her up! We need to go over to the house and make it look good for her!'
She groans.
'Cant you do it?'
'No! Riley I need your help!'
She sighs and sits up.
'Okay fine'
I smile.
'Thank you!'
I kiss her and get out of the bed. I run into the bathroom to shower. I come back out and put on some clothes. I make the bed and walk into the kitchen. Riley is eating cereal. She still looks sleepy. I smile.
I get my cereal and sit next to her.
'Morning' I say.
She looks at me.
'Your so mean you know that?'
'What!'
'I was having a really nice dream!'
'Oh really? About what?'
'Well...it was summer...and we were at the beach with Michelle, Eldon, West, Amanda, Leia, Kevin, Emily, John, Luke and Theo. You and me were making out on the beach along with Michelle and John. Emily was screaming at us to stop. You then picked me up and ran down with me to the water. Then....wait. I dont know what happened next because you woke me up!'
I smile.
'Thats a cute dream'
She laughs.
'Come on. Lets go and get the house ready for your mom' she smiles getting up.
We make our way to the house. When we get there, there are a few cars outside the house. We look at eachother confused. We open the door to see Emily, Kevin, Piper, Amanda and Michelle running around the place. There are a few decorations up. Emily runs over to us.
'Finally! Your here!'
'What are ye doing?' Riley asks.
'Is it not clear! Come on! Kevin will be going to pick her up soon! We need to hurry!'
She pulls us into the kitchen.
'Get the plates and cups and stuff ready. Oh and check the pizza and chips. They should be nearly done. Then you can help put up the banners'
She runs out of the kitchen and closes the door.
'Right then! Lets get started!' Riley says.
We quickly get the plates and cups ready. We gather the drinks and check the pizza and chips.
'Right. Thats done. What now?' Riley asks.
'We need to help put the banners up'
We go into the hallway and grab some banners.
'Put one over the doorway' I tell her.
She looks at the doorway.
'I cant'
'Why?'
'Incase you havent noticed, my height is a bit of a problem'
I smile and take it off her. I hang it up.
'It sucks been short' she says.
'No it doesnt. I think its cute'
She smiles. I kiss her.
'Hey Jiley! We need your help in here!' Kevin calls.
We go into the sitting room.
'Whats up?'
'We dont know where to put all this extra stuff'
'Maby we could put some upstairs?'
'What about her room? It would brighten it up a bit' Riley says.
'Okay. Take these and quickly put them up' Kevin says handing them to us.
We turn around to leave.
'Oh and no funny business!' he says.
'We're not that bad!' I tell him.
He laughs and goes back to tidying up.
We go upstairs and go into her room. Its a mess.
'Wow. We have alot of work to do' she says.
'Mom is going to kill me'
'Why?'
'She hates people going into her room'
'She'll understand it was for a good cause'
I smile. We start tidying up. As Im putting thimgs into a drawer, I find a book. I look at it and smile.
'Hey Ri?'
'Yeah?'
'Look what I found'
'What is it?'
We sit on the bed.
'I looks like my mother has been alot more interested in my life than I thought'
'How do you mean?'
'Its an album of my whole life'
We open it.
There are pictures of when I was born, my first day at school, my first friends. I turn a page that says:

We smile at eachother.
There are pictures of us when we met, us hanging out together, us hanging out together as a cuple. Its all so lovely. I close it when we're done.
'Wow. That was beautiful' she says.
'I never knew she kept this'
She nods.
A knock comes on the door. Its Emily.
'Kevin has gone to collect Deboradh so get this place ready'
She then quickly leaves the room.
'You heard her. Lets get the place ready!' I say.
She smiles.
'Allright then. But put that back' she says pointing to the album.
'Yes princess'
She laughs.
I place it carefull back in the drawer. We quickly hang up some decorations and make our way back downstairs.
'Their here!' Emily screams.
The front door opens and Kevin walks in with mom. We smile.
'Oh my gosh' she says when she sees the decorations and all of us standing there.
'Welcome home!' we all cheer. She smiles.
'Thank you'
We all hug her. She looks at me.
'Oh James. My baby'
I pull her close to me and hug her tightly. She smiles.
'Welcome home mom'
'Thank you son'
I kiss her cheek.
'Whos hungry? Im starving!' Riley smiles. Everyone makes their way into the kitchen. I wrap my arms around Rileys waist and kiss her neck.
'Not now James. Tonight'
'Promise?'
She smiles.
'Promise'
We get some food. After, we all go into the sitting room and sit down. I sit next to Riley and wrap my arm around her. She smiles and rests her head on my shoulder. Deboradh turns to us.
'So hows the wedding plans comming?'
'Great actually' Riley smiles.
'Thats good'
We sit in silence. Riley picks up a drink.
'Am...I know this is a bit akward...but is there going to be a Jiley baby soon?' Piper asks.
Riley chokes on her drink. I laugh and rub her back.
'Am...'
I was not expecting Piper to come out with that. I mean yes, we will be having one...but I didnt think they would be asking about it now.
'We am...we might be having one after the wedding' I tell them.
'Have you talked about it?'
'Yeah we have. And we agreed to wait till after the wedding'
They nod and drop the subject. Me and Riley look  at eachother and smile.
'Whos up for a dance party!' Riley smiles.
We all cheer. I put on some music and we dance around. Today has been amazing. Im so glad that mom is back home again.
Now we can finally get ready for the next big event...
