Angry phone call

Rileys POV:
I go into the sitting room and see Emily on the coutch.
'Hey Em' I say sitting next to her.
She doesnt say anything. She seems to be distracted and doesnt even know Im sitting there.
'Em? Hello?'
She snaps her head towards me.
'Oh hey Riley. I didnt see you there'
'Yeah. I noticed. Are you okay?'
'Yeah Im fine'
'No. No your not. Whats wrong?'
'Nothing. Im fine'
'Em. Your my sister. You can tell me anything'
She looks at me. I can see tears in her eyes. Im a little confused.
'Em?'
She starts to cry. I put my arm around her shoulder as she rests her head on me.
'Hey. Whats wrong?'
'I dont know what to do. I dont know what I did wrong'
'What are you talking about?'
She lifts her head and looks at me.
'I rang Kevin yesterday. When I was talking to him I could tell that there was something on his mind. So I asked him what it was and...'
'What did he say?'
'He wouldnt tell me for a bit but I forced him to and he said that...that... oh Riley!!'
She broke down in tears again.
'Em your kinnda leaving me hanging here. What did he say?'
'He...he kissed someone'
'What do you mean he kissed someone?!'
'He got a part time job and this one that he works with is very close to him. He kissed her Riley!!'
'When did this happen?!'
'A few days ago'
I felt so angry inside. How could he do this to her? I thought he loved her!
I took my phone out of my pocket.
'What are you doing?'
'Ringing James'
'Why?'
'So I can talk to Kevin'
'No Riley. Please. Just leave it be!'
'I need to talk to him'
A few seconds later a voice comes from the other end of the phone.
'Hello?'
'James its me'
'Hey whats up?'
'I need to speak to Kevin'
'Why?'
'I cant tell you right now. Just put me onto him'
'O-okay' he said. I could her his voice was a little shaky. Im not sure why but Ill just brush it off. My sister and his brother is more important than a shaky voice right now.
'Hello?'
'So you wanna tell me why you kissed someone else?' I say in a harsh voice.
'I dont know what your talking about'
'I think you do because my sister is sitting here on the coutch crying saying that you kissed someone that works with you!'
'Look Riley. It just happened!'
'It just happened! You just broke my sisters heart! How could you! I thought you loved her!'
'I do! I really do!'
'Then why did you kiss her?!'
Silence.
'Riley?'
James voice came on the phone.
'James put Kevin back on the phone'
'Riley. You need to calm down!'
'No! He just broke her heart!'
'Im going to hang up now, and your going to get a drink and just calm down. You and Kevin can talk about this later. Okay?'
I sigh.
'Fine. Ill talk to you later'
'Okay. I love you'
'I love you too. Bye'
'Bye'
I hang up.
Emily looks at me.
'What did he say?'
'Well I wouldnt let him say much, but he did say that he loves you and that it just happened'
'What do you think?'
'I really dont know what to think'
We sit in silence.
'The annoying thing is that James cut in half way through and told me to calm down! I wasnt even finished what I wanted to say! Like seriously!'
I look at Emily who is smiling.
'What? What did I say?'
'I just find it funny to see how opposite you and James are'
'What?'
'Think about it. Your so stressed about everything and hes so chilled and realaxed and doesnt worry about a thing!'
'Well hes James! Its what hes like!'
She smiles.
'Listen Riley. Dont be worring about my love life. Your anniversary with James is next week and you must focus on that okay? Ill be fine'
'But Em...'
'No buts Ri. Just focus on been with James'
'Are you sure?'
'Im sure'
'Im here if you need me'
'I know you are and I love you for that'
She smiles and gives me a hug.
I just hope that things will work out between them because Id hate to see my sister upset.
