Leaving

Rileys POV:
I collect my things from the office and lock up. Im leaving for England today so I need to make sure that everything is set for Michelle and Amanda.
Alfie walks in. I smile.
'Hey! What are you doing here?'
'I came to say goodbye'
'Oh. Okay'
'Youll call wont you?'
'Yeah for sure. Ill miss you'
'Ill miss you too'
I lean in and kiss him.
'Well I gotta go. My mom is waiting' I tell him.
'Okay. Enjoy'
'I will'
I smile at him as he leaves. My smile quickly dissapears.
Michelle walks in.
'Hey girl! You all set?'
'Yeah' I tell her.
'You allrigh?'
'Yeah. Its just Alfie...hes a great guy and all but I just dont feel as connected to him as I used to. I dont know whats wrong'
She looks at me.
'Theres only one answer to it. Hes not James'
I look at her.
I dont know what scares me more.
The fact that she said it.
Or that she may be right.
'Well...am...here are the keys to the studio, and the list of solos, duets and trios. They just need to finish working on their semi-finals and finals routeen and then they can work on their own choreo that they need to have ready for regionals' I tell her handing her the keys and the paperwork.
'Okay. Me and Amanda will make sure that it gets done. Say hi to James for us'
'Yeah. But I mightnt see him'
'Come on Ri! You will'
'What makes you say that?'
'Because you love him and want to be with him. Not Alfie'
I look at her.
'Well see ya! Have a safe flight!' she smiles as she walks off.
What if shes right?
What if I still love James?
What if I want him back?

Hey guyes! Hope you are enjoying the book so far! Ive taken your ideas into consideration about James not accepting her back straight away and the ideas that you gave me have made me come up with some sort of story line that I hope that you like. Just so you know, James will be very stubborn about accepting Riley back into his life, so keep reading to find out what happenes!
Also Im sorry in advance if I dont get to update as much as I have summer exams comming up in the next few weeks and I have to study.
