You look outside and a sigh escapes your lips. You forgot your umbrella at home and you were going to get soaked. It was pouring outside and the temperature was very low. The perfect weather to catch a cold.

Sighing, you mentally prepare yourself to walk home in the rain and get sick.

You push open the school door but someone calling your name stops you.

Turning around, you are greeted by a tall Chinese boy. Sightly out of breath, Jun says "Did you really think you were going to walk in the rain without an umbrella?"

"Uh yeah?"

The boy shook his head and made a disappointed face. He pulled out an umbrella from his backpack and handed it to you, "Here."

After he zipped up his bag, he pushed the door open and motioned for you to walk through.

"Okay Jun, what do you want?" You didn't understand why he was being such a gentlemen. The two of you have been close friends for a long time and you knew him inside out. He was usually only thinking about himself but today, he was acting strangely kind.

You opened up the umbrella and the two of you stepped into the summer rain.

"Are you saying that I'm not always this nice?" He looked down at you with a scowl on his face. The boy took the umbrella from you and held it, your hands now free.

You just shook your head and sighed, "What am I going to do with you." The two of you stopped at a crosswalk and turned to each other as you waited for the light to change.

"C'mon, Y/N, you know you love me," Jun grinned and nudged you with his arm. He grabbed your hand, held it up so that it was eye level with you, and intertwined his fingers with yours.

You hit the boy with your free hand in return, your cheeks faintly red. "You wish."

"Chan wouldn't stop talking about it and he almost told –" You interrupted Jun's sentence by poking his arm. Pointing towards the intersection in front of him, you said, "We have to walk in different directions."

He looked around and nodded, "Oh yeah. It's fine, I'll just walk you home. Can't let you get soaked from the rain."

You looked at him and tried to sound very serious, "Jun, you know how far we live from each other. I am not letting you walk twice as much just for me."

"But you're special," He winked at you with his usual smug smile on his face.

You felt your cheeks warm up but hoped that he didn't notice, "Don't you have to teach piano today?"

His smile immediately dropped as he came to realization what day it was, "Oh man."

"Uh huh, I'll be going now." You pull up your hood, stepped out of the umbrella and into the rain.

You take a few steps forward until you realize that something was protecting you from the rain. Turning around, you see Jun holding the umbrella over you. He grabs your hand, wraps it around the handle of the umbrella and steps away from it. Standing in the rain, he puts his bag over his head and smiles.

"See you tomorrow!" He said and started running towards his house.

You couldn't help but smile and shake your head, "That boy."

The following morning, a text wakes you up.

Groaning, you pick up your phone and look at the too bright screen. A text from Jun was causing your phone to light up.

"i'm sick y/n ㅠㅠ stay home from school so you can come over and take care me!"

Looking at the time, you realize that you were running late already. Already regretting what you were doing, you texted your friend and asked if they could get your homework for you.

Opening up your messages with Jun, you texted him back with a sigh.

"you are so lucky i love you"

Phone in hand, you get out of your bed and shuffle over to the washroom.

As you were washing your face, your phone screen lights up.

"i love you!!! •3•"

A smile creeped onto your face and you began to mentally make a list of things to bring over to his house. A bounce in your step said that you wanted to go over and take care of Jun. The things you did for love, no matter what it was.
