The first day of winter did not bring any snow with it, only a bitter cold and no wind.
You, the boys and a few other friends decided to go to the beach one last time before it snowed and everyone was stuck indoors.
With blankets laid out and sandwiches in hand, all of you talked and laughed together. Talking about the most random things, everyone smiled and soaked in the last moments before the harsh winter hits.
After finishing your sandwich, you look out towards the water and close your eyes. You hear the crash of the waves against the shore and the quiet murmur of chatter coming from the boys.
"Hey, let's start a campfire!" Soonyoung suggested.
A chorus of agreements were said amongst the group and everyone started gathering the materials needed.
In no time, the campfire was built and going. The warmth made everyone gather around it and added another calming layer to the night.
You could hear one of the boys quietly humming a song mindlessly as everyone sat in silence around the fire.
Another person quietly began to sing along to the familiar song and soon enough, everyone was softly singing along.
As you laid eyes on each person, you could see the genuine happiness in their eyes and voices. Everyone's hearts were at ease and all of their problems seemed to disappear.
The night air was cool but the warmth coming from the fire and people made everything alright. This brought everyone together and it seemed like it made their relationship even stronger.
