Ever since you started dating Seokmin, you've always wanted to take him to a musical.

From the moment you found out he was so passionate about music and had such an amazing voice. You saw how much the boy adores singing and watching movies. You wanted to show him how magical musicals were, from the acting, to the singing, to the dancing, to the live orchestra! It was an amazing experience and you knew he would love it.

So when you were actually seeing a musical with him, you couldn't wipe the smile off of your face.

You hear the orchestra begin and out of the corner of your eye, you see the boy beside you move forward. He has never see a live orchestra before with his own eyes and is so fascinated by the entire thing. The boy sits on the edge of his seat, elbows resting on his knees as he puts his head in his hands. He peers down at the stage and looks at the musicians, completely captivated by them.

Turning your head to look at him, you see Seokmin playing with his bottom lip. It was a habit of his whenever he was concentrating and in deep thought. The boy was mesmerised by it all, his eyes shining in amazement as he sees all of the musicians playing together in unison and the actors on stage singing along perfectly. The actors never once broke out of character and sang so beautifully. It was amazing how everyone came together so well and put on such a great show.

His mouth slightly opens when the actors begin to dance on stage while singing, leaving the boy in complete awe. He watches them move around the stage, using the set to its fullest and using the song to express their characters. He loved how music and dance were used to express the characters and the story.

Unable to stop yourself, you reach out and take Seokmin's hand in yours. This seems to snap him out of his daze and he turns towards you with the smile still on his face. You see the happiness in your boyfriend's eyes and it makes your heart swell up in love.

He watches your smile grow and gently squeezes your hand, bringing it up to his lips and pressing a soft kiss to the back of your hand. He loves seeing the love of his life so happy and enjoying themselves.

Both of you turn towards the stage once more and focus back on the musical, hands still holding onto each other. You were so happy that he was finally seeing a musical, having the chance to experience the magic of it in real life. You were so happy that you got to share this moment with him on such a special day.

"That was amazing!" Seokmin exclaims as the two of you walk into your shared apartment, kicking off your shoes and flicking on a lamp. "Everything from the actors to the music to the stage, it was so cool!"

You hum in agreement as your boyfriend continues to ramble, "Next time we should go to a symphony!" The entire trip home consisted of the boy talking about the musical and how much he loved it. You two discussed the storyline, the characters, the music, and the overall environment. You were so happy to see that he enjoyed the night so much and how he was so happy to have spent his birthday this way.

The two of you walk into the apartment with your coats still on and the boy still talking. You turn towards your boyfriend and stop in the middle of the living room, seeing the same dreamy look in his eyes from the musical. Your heart swells up in love knowing that he was so happy.

Seokmin notices that you stopped walking and is smiling up at him. "What?" He says as he mirrors your smile, taking your hands in his and playing with your fingers. The boy couldn't stand still and loved to fiddle with your fingers whenever he could. He knew the look in your eye, it was one of endearment.

Shaking your head, you just grin up to him. "Nothing. I'm just glad that you enjoyed the musical."

His smile gets bigger and his eyes crinkle in joy as he nods enthusiastically, "I loved it! I can't get the songs out of my head." He lets go of one hand and places it on your back, successfully pulling you into him. He lifts his other hand holding yours and begins to dance around the living room with you.

A giggle leaves your lips at the sudden action and the boy begins to hum the melody of a song from the play, both of you dancing on the hardwood floor in socks. You look up at him and lock eyes, playing along and humming along to the same song.

The two of you dance around the dimly lit apartment as laughter erupts from both of you. Seokmin spinning you around and you twirling back into his arms, him moving a little too quickly and slipping on the floor from sliding in his socks. It was so nice to just be in each other's arms, dancing to your own voices, getting lost in each other's eyes and in the moment.

When no one can remember the rest of the song, you two don't stop dancing. You rest your head against his chest and close your eyes, hearing his rhythmic heartbeat and feeling warm in his touch. It was comforting and you felt so safe in his arms, knowing that this was the person that you loved so dearly.

You smile to yourself and softly say, "Happy Birthday, Seokmin."

His hold on you tightens and you can hear the smile in the voice when he speaks, "Thank you for making it so special." The boy kisses the top of your head and you know how much it means. He cherished these moments and always held them close to his heart.

He loved when you two would do silly things like this, the simple things were what left a big mark in his heart. He felt so loved in times like these and like everything was going to be alright as long as he had you.

Words didn't need to be said for the two of you to know how much this moment meant to you both. The three special words didn't need to come out of you mouths to know how each other felt, it was all said in your actions. From the look in both of your eyes, to the smiles on your faces, to the way you two were dancing in each other's arms to a symphony of silence.
