It was well into the night when Seungcheol stepped out of the elevator.

Despite the fact that it was almost midnight, the lobby was still busy.

A quiet melody was being played on the grand piano and the voices of people all blended together to form a comforting white noise.

Walking towards the fireplace, the boy took a seat near a window.

Sitting on the velvet couch, he sank into the chair and sighed.

The warmth radiating off of the fireplace relaxed him and he stared out the window.

His girlfriend and him just had a fight and it didn't end very nicely.

The two of them were usually very good with resolving issues immediately and never really fighting with each other.

This time, it was much more different.

They were yelling at each other, things were being thrown, and tears were shed.

Seungcheol left their hotel room in a fury and ended up in the lobby of their hotel.

He looked out of the window and into the dark night.

It was almost midnight and the streets were quiet. The store signs provided enough light to see the snow coming down. It was falling slowly and covering everything. The city looked like it had a white blanket on top of it.

A sigh escaped his lips and he just shook his head. He was so disappointed in himself for letting the fight become so huge. He did not like fighting with her and hated seeing her cry.

Tears brimmed his own eyes when he thought about his girlfriend crying because of the fight.

Lots of disagreements were made and hearts were shattered.

He didn't know if things were going to go back to the way they were before, everything has changed.

Seungcheol watched the snow fall and was honest with himself. Things were not going to work out between his girlfriend and him anymore. He knew that if they prolonged their relationship, it would not be genuine and they would always be fighting with each other.

He thought about their relationship as if it was a mountain.

The climb up was very nice and peaceful. The two of them shared many happy memories with each other. They laughed and smiled a lot because of each other.

Once they reached the peak of the mountain, things started to change and it lead up to this fight.

Now the climb down this mountain was going to be sad and difficult. The two of them had to break up and let each other go.

It seemed like their relationship was a lot more difficult than others. It was like a winter mountain, the weather made it harder. Their relationship didn't seem like it was a long time, but it definitely did not feel short.

Seungcheol gazed at the street with glossy eyes and whispered to himself, "The winter hasn't been too long or too short."
