The good thing about moving to New York was that Hansol was able to improve his English.

Going by Vernon now, he met Y/N in school. She was the first person to approach him since she saw how nervous he was on the first day of school.

The two of them instantly became friends because of their common interest in music and rap. Plus, she was half Korean just like him.

It was perfect friendship because Y/N wanted to improve her Korean and Vernon wanted to improve his English.

The two of them would help each other out by going to each other's houses after school and speaking in that language. They would practice their pronunciation and grammar skills.

After finishing their session for the day, Y/N sat down on Vernon's bed. The boy laid down on his bed and rested his head on her lap.

She began to mindlessly play with his hair and asked him, "Tell me about your hometown back in Korea."

Vernon looked up at her and nodded, "Well to start off, I used to walk everywhere."

The boy began to talk about his life in Korea and what it was like for him.

Y/N would always ask him this question because she loved how his eyes sparkled whenever he talked about his home overseas. He always got so excited and it brought him back home.

He would ramble on and on but she didn't mind. Y/N just continued to play with his hair as she nodded and occasionally asked questions.

That was one of the many things Y/N loved about Vernon.
