"Why do we have to make a song about water?" You whined as you looked down at the clean piece of paper.

Jihoon just shrugged and twirled his pencil in his hand, "How about we sit in complete silence and try to make up a melody in our mind."

"Sounds good," you sat up straight in your chair and complete silence settled around the room. The two of you were working in your room, trying to create a song for science class.

Jihoon pierced the silence by humming a tune.

You immediately opened your eyes and looked at him, adding some other sounds to it.

Nodding at each other in understanding, lyrics suddenly hit you. Dirtying the clean sheet of paper with lyrics, you showed them to the boy afterwards.

He added the lyrics to the melody and sang it for you.

"Finally!" You flopped onto your bed and sighed.

Jihoon quietly sat beside you and laid down as well, "I actually like our song."

You smiled and told him, "All thanks to your catchy melody!"

"Hey," he turned towards you and you looked at him, "Your witty lyrics brought the whole song together!"

The two of you were smiling at each other and you knew that this song would be stuck in your head for long time.

You smiled at the memory and soon found yourself thinking about your relationship with him.

After that project, the two of you became very close friends. You made lots of memories together and he was someone very important to you.

Unfortunately, when Jihoon started his training, the two of you became very distant with one another. You couldn't blame him though, his dream was to pursue music and it was coming true for him through training.

Although you drifted away from each other, you two would send a video to each other whenever it was a special day or holiday. The video consisted of both of you wishing each other the best on that holiday/special day, but instead of just saying it, you sang it to the tune of your science project song.

This went on for many years and lots of videos were sent. Some of them had you guys singing in very high pitches and dragging out the notes, where as other videos included you two messing up and laughing at yourself. It was a fun thing to send to each other every time it was a holiday or special day.

You don't remember what had happen, but the two of you eventually forgot about this whole thing. The videos stopped being sent and you lost contact with each other.

Flipping through the TV channels one day, you stopped on the music channel.

A special stage by the boy group Seventeen was on and you couldn't help but be drawn in by them. You didn't really care for these pop songs but something about this song caught your attention. Also the fact that they had 13 boys on stage.

The boys continued singing and the song sounded oddly familiar to you. The song was about all the happy times they had with their fans and in the instrumental, there were sounds of laughter. Even though this was your first time hearing this group, it made you feel like they loved you as well.

The camera panned through each boy and one of them caught your attention.

He was small compared to the others but had an amazing voice. He looked and sounded familiar to you, but you were pretty sure you've never seen him before.
