Seungkwan ran out of her house with teary eyes.

As soon as he stepped outside, it started pouring. The rain was so heavy and it didn't look like it was stopping anytime soon.

The boy from Jeju aimlessly ran down the street and all he could think about was her.

A loud crash brought him back to reality and he realized that he should take cover in this thunderstorm. The boy didn't even realize that it was raining until he looked up. The rain couldn't be heard over Seungkwan's sobbing and he didn't even feel the raindrops on his face since he was crying so much.

He quickly took shelter under an awning from a store and sat down on the bench underneath it.

Bringing his knees to his chest, the boy cried his heart out and let everything out.

He was soaked not only from head to toe, but his heart was soaked as well. It felt like it was soaked in pain and it would never dry from it.

She was like his other half. They've known each other ever since Seungkwan moved to Seoul. She was the closest thing he had to a relative and she was so important to him. She was such a supportive girlfriend and she was his best friend.

So why did she have to break up with him?

"Why can't you stay with me?" Seungkwan whispered to himself.

She would always be there for him whenever he was going through a hard time or whenever he was under a lot of stress. Whenever he felt sad, the two of them would meet up and she would make him feel better.

Seungkwan really needed her right now to comfort him, but how could he ask for her help when she was the one causing all of this pain? He was alone in this rain and was only getting soaked more.

Seungkwan managed to control his breathing and calm himself down. He rested his head against his hands and took deep breaths.

He was young and scared about his future. He just lost his best friend, he didn't know what to do.

Seungkwan listened to the rain fall and thought about what was going to happen next.

Trying his best to look on the bright side, he quietly said to himself,

"It's just a passing downpour."
