The final year of school for Chan was nothing special. The same old students, the same old routine, and the same school system. The boy couldn't wait to graduate and get out of the restrictive high school.

Even though he was an idol and didn't attend school during promotional periods, he still recognized the poor schooling system and felt the same dread of school as everyone else. He loved to learn, don't get him wrong, it's just that he wants the way he learns to be changed. He just wanted to graduate and start university already.

Post-secondary education was more flexible and he would be able to choose whatever he wanted to learn. He knew that it would be difficult to continue with school and still be an idol, but he wanted to continue learning and grow as a person.

All these positive thoughts about the future were gone after the first semester of his senior year. Every student was feeling drained from working so hard and didn't want to face another whole semester of the same workload with new material. The excitement of school and learning was all gone by now and people just wanted the year to end, including Chan.

He was sick of being trapped inside a classroom for hours, listening and taking notes on subjects he didn't even care about. He just wanted to learn the things he wanted and get out of there. For once, he was actually looking forward to Seventeen's busy schedules.

Tapping his pencil against the back of his hand, the boy stared out of the classroom windows. He sat alone at the back of the class because of the crazed fans incidents (there were a fair share of people who would invade Chan's privacy in school and tried to become way too friendly to him). All his friends were in other classes and everyone in his class already had their own friend groups. It may seem like a strange thought for an idol, who many people loved, to have no friends in a class. But there was an unspoken mutual understanding that everyone would hang out with their own friends and Chan would not get offended. They were friendly towards him and did talk to him occasionally, but let's just say that he wasn't their first choice when it came to group work. So the idol sat alone at the back, all his friends in other classes, and with a teacher who didn't even like him that much.

The old man standing in front of the class was supposed to be teaching science, but instead he was telling the class his life story. "My three children are amazing in science, I taught them when they were little. My eldest was actually interested in math but I got her to use her knowledge in science."

Chan sighed and began to tune out the teacher speaking, he had to suffer through an entire semester of this. This Monday was passing by very slowly and he didn't want to listen. Even if his teacher began teaching after he told his life story, Chan was too tired to even learn. The boy could just read the textbook at home and ask the other members for help if he needed it. Having 12 best friends who were all older than him and already learned all of this was really useful for Chan in times like these.

The idol began to daydream and think about the things he had to do after school. They would be performing a song for the first time at their upcoming concert and Chan was given the chance to create the choreography for it. He was so happy when the staff told him the night before, he couldn't stop smiling. He spent all of last night trying to get some ideas for the dance and didn't sleep very much. All he thought about now was choreographing that song and everything he could do.
