wonwoo vlogging and wanting to start producing videos inspired me so much to write this. i personally love making vlogs and seeing him do this, capturing things from his perspective, is so exciting! i can't wait til he posts his video and start another hobby he loves.
i wrote so many versions of this and finally settled on this one. i didn't really go into too much detail on what video content they all make because it was too much for one imagine. maybe i'll make a pt 2 of this where they all go to the arcade and i include more youtube stuff?
sorry for the wait hehe~
Blaring music, sweaty bodies and loud chatter. The after party was just like every other party, but this one was filled with youtubers.
VidCon was the weekend for content creators and their subscribers. Youtubers got to talk about themselves, meet other people, and learn new things. Viewers got to meet their favourites in real life and listen to what they had to say. Everyone was busy for the three days; whether it was with panels or meetups, everyone had their own schedule and it was an exciting time.
You had the chance to make new friends and connect with some really amazing people. It helped you create new relationships and grow your career as a youtuber. Learning lots of new things over the weekend, it inspired you to improve your own channel.
The convention showed you that there were so many other people who were just as passionate about creating videos as you were. It was so cool to be in an environment full of creators and people who enjoyed the same thing.
To celebrate the end of a successful, fun and hectic weekend, YouTube threw a party for all the creators at the hotel where everyone stayed. All youtubers were invited, big or small, and it was a chance for everyone to let loose and mingle.
The party was in full swing in the large hall of the hotel by 10 pm. Lights flashing, temperature high and lots of people dancing. Cameras and phones were capturing the action, all from different perspectives (it was a YouTube convention after all). Everyone was enjoying themselves and relaxing after a full three days of activities, letting the music fill them up and having fun.
You found yourself on the outskirts of the party, watching the people dancing. Rather than hitting the dance floor with your friends, you preferred to watch from afar. Parties weren't really your thing but you were peer pressured into going tonight. Your eyes searched the cluster of bodies and you saw your friends enjoying themselves.
Seungkwan, Seokmin and Soonyoung seemed to be the life of the party and were in the middle of the dance floor. They were hyping everyone up, singing along to the songs and dancing all over the place. They were definitely the mood makers and it made everyone feel at ease.
Smiling at their never ending energy, you looked for your other friends. The group of boys and girls seemed to have formed a small circle on the edge of the dance floor. They were singing along to the songs dramatically, over exaggerating their dance moves to fit the song. You could even hear their laughter from your spot leaning against the wall. Chan was doing Michael Jackson dances to a sad breakup song and you laughed along with them.
You continued to people watch by yourself, seeing them all so happy brought joy to you. A few songs passed when a wave of heat washed over you and it made breathing a little difficult. So many people in one room, all sweating and exerting so much energy was something that definitely raised the temperature.
Tossing your cup into the trash, you spot a door that's propped open in the corner of the hall. You walk over to it and push it open fully, the night breeze hitting your sticky skin. Slipping out of the party, you gently close the door and rest it against the piece of wood that kept it ajar.
