halloween • hoshi

(i wrote this back in september, i've been waiting for so long)

It was Halloween day and the boys were invited to a party hosted by one of their close friends. Being Soonyoung's girlfriend, their friend had invited you as well.

The only thing about this party was that everyone had to dress up.

The two of you didn't mind as you liked to goof around with each other with funny outfits. Finding a Halloween costume was fairly easy for you guys.

Soonyoung had decided to dress up as a prince since he recently began to call himself "Prince Hoshi". On the other hand, you had decided to dress up as the white rabbit from Alice in Wonderland.

The two of you were getting ready in your room, putting on makeup and fixing up the little details.

Placing the crown on his head, you smile at how adorable he looks.

"Prince Kwon Soonyoung, you look very dashing tonight."

He breaks out into a goofy smile and plays along, "Why thank you, my lady."

You turn around and continue to get ready for the party.

"Hey, can you pass me your pocket watch please?" Soonyoung asked you while you were applying some makeup to your face. 

You tossed him the thrifted watch and he began to fiddle with it.

Not paying much attention to him, he passed the watch back to you and you looked down at it.

Looking at the time, you let out a laugh and roll your eyes.

"10:10, are you serious?"

He smiles and nods his head, "You're my girlfriend after all."

You just shake your head and put on your rabbit ears. Looking at the mirror, you turn towards your boyfriend, "Do I look okay?"

He nods, "You should be eating some carrots right now."

"17 Carat," you make the reference and point at him with a smile on your face.

"Haha," he says dryly but after he sees your face, he lets out a giggle, "Let's just go."

After dancing for a few hours and having a few drinks, the two of you were slow dancing to a ballad.

With your head on his chest, you can't help but smile. You felt so lucky to have Soonyoung as your boyfriend. The two of you were so happy together and it felt like a dream.

Pulling away from your boyfriend, you look up and see that he is already gazing at you.

A blush rises to your cheeks and he pecks you on the forehead.

"Hello, my little rabbit."

Leaving a kiss on his cheek, you smile at him, "Hello, my prince."

Seeing an idea spark within your boyfriend, he lets go of your hands and reaches up to his crown.

Taking it off of his head, he gently places the plastic crown on your head.

"Now you're my princess, well, a rabbit one." He gives you a smile and his heart swells up with joy.

A blush creeps onto your face and you rest your head against his chest once again.

The two of you continue to dance the night away and think about how in love you are with each other.
