Yoon Jeonghan was always seen with his friends, pulling pranks around the school and being the little jokester he was.
From stink bombs to sticky chairs, Jeonghan and his gang (which consisted of 12 other boys) would pull off pranks every week.
He would walk down the halls and multiple people would greet him. The boy seemed to know everyone and was well liked, despite his weekly pranks that would sometimes make the entire school groan.
Although some of the pranks was a pain to clean up, it brought some fun into everyone's boring school week and made them look forward to something. The boys just wanted to have some fun and make people laugh. They wanted to remember high school as something they enjoyed.
You and Jeonghan had classes together and were acquaintances. One time, he even asked you to help out with a prank.
Besides pulling these pranks, him and the gang would also host parties every month at their dorm. The boys were fun and chill people, everyone loved being around them. Lots of people attended their parties and said they hosted the best ones. You also heard they played really good music, as one of them was a DJ, and that the atmosphere was fun and safe. The 13 of them were trainees and lived together, so there was no worry about parents coming home.
You would always hear about these parties and how much fun they were. You were curious to see what it was like and why it was so memorable. But being you, parties weren't your thing and you preferred to stay home. You worked hard in school but were quite lazy and liked to do nothing when you had free time.
So when your friends insisted that you attend this month's party, you let your curiosity take over and let them drag you along.
Now you were at the infamous Seventeen party, your friends nowhere in sight and cup of water in your hand.
The overwhelming amount of people dancing to the bass boosted music in the small apartment did not bring joy to you.
You thought that you would be on the dance floor with your friends, singing along at the top of your lungs and having fun. But here you were, alone in the kitchen (it was the quietest place you could find), surrounded by infatuated couples, and drinking water from a red solo cup.
Tapping your foot along to the popular song playing, you thought about what you would do once you got home.
I'll immediately shower and get this sweat off of me. Maybe I'll start that new show.
Someone calling your name brought you out of your daydream.
"Y/N?"
You whipped around to the source of the voice and almost choked on your water.
"Jeonghan?"
The angel boy stood in front of you with a smile on his face. You thought he didn't remember you, he knew so many other people and you weren't important in his life.
"I didn't think you would be here," he said over the loud music as he leaned closer to you.
It was your turn to smile and you shook your head, "My friends dragged me along."
Jeonghan took a step back and looked around you. He gave you a questioning look when he saw that you were alone.
You pointed towards the cluster of people on the dance floor and he saw your group friends.
He looked at you and gave a sympathetic smile. You just shrugged, as if you knew that your friends were going to ditch you.
"Why aren't you dancing? I thought you would be out there since it is your party." You ask as you admire him. He was wearing simple ripped black jeans and a t-shirt. His hair looked neat and like he hasn't partied at all.
