He looked down at his phone and read the caption once more.

"Fireworks 🎇"

Y/N just posted a photo of her and her new boyfriend sharing a kiss as a firework went off behind them. The caption was representing how their kiss felt like the firework that was behind them.

Seokmin put his phone down on the cold concrete and rested his head in his hands.

The two of you broke up two months ago after being together for three years. You managed to get back up after the break up and move on to new people. You met another man and was very happy with him. The thought of you and Seokmin together left your mind.

Seokmin, on the other hand, was not over you yet because he latched onto people and didn't let go easily. It hurt him even more when he saw how quickly you moved on. He felt like an idiot and a loser because he was still heart broken after two months.

"I wish she was having a harder time," he whispered to himself, "I want you to think of me."

Just as he said that, a firework went off in the distance. The explosion lit up the sky with its colours and a sad smile formed on the boys face.

He wanted to embrace her like he used to do and wanted her to be the reason behind his smile.

Seokmin closed his eyes and listened to the fireworks go off.

He looked for you in his dreams and called your name unknowingly.

"I want to be okay but it's hard," another firework exploded in the sky. "I would be telling a lie if I said that I want to forget you."

Seokmin opened his eyes and watched the brilliant display of colours in the sky. He thought to himself, "My lips became so dry after calling your name so many times. As I live on, I'm unable to erase it from my mind."

Just like habitual words, Seokmin desperately called for you in the night.
