One Shots: Maui x Moana

Lionized Part 1

Moana's P.O.V.

Hi! I'm Moana. I live under the rule of King Simba and Queen Nala in the pridelands. My father Tui, is the second in command of His Majesty's army. My mother Sina is a fellow huntress. She, Her Majesty, and His Majesty's mother Sarabi go out and hunt. Now the crown Princess Kiara and I go out and explore.

"Moana! Come on! I got something to show you!" Kiara says. I walk up and I nod my head. As we try to sneak out only get caught.

"And where do you think your going?!" Asks a deep voice. We turn around and we are caught by the King himself.

"Oh! Hello your Majesty." I say bowing my head in respect. He nods his head and looks at Kiara.

"Oh hi Daddy! We were just going to the watering hole." She says.

"Alright but stay in the Pridelands." He say sternly.

"Yes your Majesty." I say bowing my head. He smiles at us and goes back inside Pride Rock. We look at each other and smile.

"That was close." Kiara says.

"Oh and one more thing! No boys!" Says Simba. We nod our heads and walk off to the watering hole.

We talk and then we hear laughing. We look at each other and slowly and quietly see two male lions laughing. One has a jetblack mane and dark brown fur. The other has a tan fur and black mane. We come out and slowly approach them slowly.

"Who are you?" Kiara asks. They look up.

"Who's asking?" Snarls the dark male lion.

"The Princess of The Pridelands, thats who!" I snap back. Their glares turn into shock.

"The Princess!" They say at the same time. They bow down in respect. I smirk as they get up.

"If I may introduce us, I'm Kovu, Prince of the Eastern lands and this is my friend and guardian Maui." Says Prince Kovu. I turn my attention to the other male lion. He looks at me. He smiles and bows once more.

"I'm Princess Kiara of The Pridelands. This is my best friend and Protector Moana." Kiara says. I smile.

"If I may ask, what are you doing so far from home?" Kiara asks.

"His Highness is on a mission of peace. We are here to make amends and seek safety, your Highness." Explains Maui. We look at each other and smile.

"Follow us, if you please." I say. They two royals go together and I walk behind Kiara as Maui walks behind Kovu.

"So how long have you known the Prince?" I ask Maui. He looks at me and smiles.

"Ever since I was a cub. And what about you with the Princess?" He says and asks. "Same as you." I say. He nods his head.

"So why isn't your King with his son?" I ask him. His smile disappears and he sighs.

"His Majesty was killed in a battle against a rogue lion. He fought and won but his wounds were too deep. He lost a lot of blood and he didn't make it. His Highness was a young cub than." He says sadly.

"I'm so sorry." I say. He smiles sadly.

We walk the rest of the way to Pride Rock in silence. Kiara goes up and goes inside Pride Rock.

"His Majesty is fair and I'm positive that he will agree to a truce." I say. As I speak the King and Queen themselves come out with Kiara. I bow and the boys do the same.

"I heard you have traveled very far and you have come to seek safety." Says Simba.

"That is correct, your Majesty." Says Kovu.
