Moana's P.O.V

I watch from my balcony as the town comes in. I sigh and walk out of my room. I grab my white flower crown. I walk downstairs and smile. Many people greet me. I look and see an older man in a uniform. It's Maui's father! I look closer at his rank. He's a General like my father! I walk up to him.

"Hello." I say. His father looks at me. "Hello my dear. Don't you just look lovely!" His mother says.

"Your Maui's parents right?" I ask. "We are!" His father says.

"Where is he?" I ask.

"He's not coming my dear." His mother says.

"Why not?" I ask.

"Because I said so!" I hear my father say. I look at him. He looks at Maui's father.

"Tui." His father says.

"Alpuco."  My father says.

"You two know each other?" I ask.

"We did. A long time ago." Alpuco says. I look at my father. Then I feel a hand on my back. I look up and see Mano.

"General Tui, who is this?" Mano asks.

"Lieutenant, this is General Alpuco Devontoni." My father says.

"Nice to meet sir!" Mano says as he shakes Alpuco's hand. Alpuco nods his head. I see Tom and smile.

"Excuse me." I say. I move away from Mano and he looks at me. He grabs my hand.

"Where are you going?" He asks.

"That's not any of your business." I say politely. He glares at me and I look at my father.

"At least let me escort you." Mano says.

I shake my head. He sighs and let's me go. I walk over to Tom. He smiles  at me.

"You excited?" Tom asks.

"Not really. But I have a question. Do you know why my father and Maui's father don't get along?" I ask. He nods.

"It was back in the war. My uncle saw it all happen. He told me that Tui and Alpuco were in two snipers scopes. Maui's uncle Taro, died saving them both. But both of the Generals blame one another. My uncle never got a chance to tell them." He says.  I sigh and look at my father.

"Hey, whatever you do! Don't try to get on Mano's bad side!" Tom warns. Then he disappears.

I walk around and then take a seat. My mother, father, Mano and some other soldiers join me. We all talk as the servants bring out drinks.

"So Moana, what do you of me?" Mano asks.

"Well I...I think that your very nice." I say. He chuckles.
