Friends Forever

Moana's P.O.V

"Mawi?" I ask.

"Yeah MoMo?" He asked.

"We'll be friwnds foever wight?" I ask.

"Best friwnds foever!" He says with a nod.

"We hawve to tell ouwr parents!" I say happily.

"Mommy! Mommy guess what?" I bounce up and down. "What?" She asked.

"Mawi and I are best friwnds foever!" I say. She chuckles and picks me up. I giggle.

"Bye bye Mawi!" I say as I wave goodbye.

"Bye bye MoMo!" He waves back.

At the airport...

"Bye Mawi." I say with a sniffel.

"Bye bye MoMo." He says. We hug each other goodbye and Maui heads to his plane. He gives me a bracket made out of shells. I give him a nalecklace made out of teeth.

18 Years Later...

"Hey babe." I hear. I look up and smile.

"Hey Tom." I say. He smiles and kisses my cheek.

"Hey I need to go to the mall." I say. Tamatoa smiles.

"Ok. I'll see you later." He says. I walk to my car and drive to the mall. I enter and I type something into my phone. Then I collide with someone and I drop my phone.

"Oops! I'm sorry." Says a voice. I look and see a hand pick up my phone.

"Here you...go." He says. I look at him. He looks familiar. He's very buff and has a lot tattoos. He has a nice smile and dark brown eyes. I study him. What catches my eye is his necklace. Its made out of teeth.

"I'm sorry! But do I know you?" I ask. He looks at me and stares at me.

"I don't know. You do look familiar." He says. I laugh and shake my head.

"I'm sorry but its just you look a lot like somebody I once knew." I say.

He nods and sticks out his hand.

"I'm Maui." He says.

"I'm Moana." I say as I shake his hand. He looks so familiar and his name is familiar too.

"Hey um not to sound weird but could I see you again?" I ask. Great! You sound like a frigging creep! Way to go Moana! I scold myself inside my head.

"Sure. Can I see your phone?" He asks. I hand him my phone and he types his number in. "Here you go." He says.

"Thanks!" I say. He smile and nods.

"Well later." He says. I wave and he disappears. I walk to a store and I grab a new shirt. As I'm paying I get a call.

"Hello?" I say.

"Hey." Tom says.

"Tom! Hi! What's up?" I say as I grab my bag.

"We need to talk." He says seriously. I walk out of the store and into the parking lot.

"Sure." I say. I enter my car.

"What's wrong?" I ask.

"Moana...I'm breaking up with you." He says.

"What?! Why?" I ask.

"Well I'm in love with a different person." He says.

"Oh..." I say sadly.

"I hope we can be friends." He says.
