Maui's P.O.V

I wake up and smile. I hop out of bed and walk down the hallway.

"How?" I hear my father ask.

"I-I don't know! But somehow we got invited.

"Invited to what Mom?" I ask as I walk into the kitchen.

"We got invited to the engagement party!" My mother says as she holds up the paper.

"Alright! What did you do?!" My father asks.

"I didn't do anything!" I say.

"How could he do something Alpuco? Besides! They do need a musician." My mother says as she hands me the paper. I look at the paper. I'm surprised as it reads.

You and your family are invited to the Waialiki house to celebrate the engagement of Moana Waialiki and Mano Kahananui. Please dress formally and be at the house at 7:30. The party begins at 8 and bring a instrument if you play one.

I look at my parents.

"I swear! I didn't do anything!" I say. "Lona, do we have to go?!" My father asks. My mother glares at my father. He sighs.

"Alright! Alright! We are going to the party." He says. I nod and rush to my room. I grab my guitar, Tom's money, and our hat. I walk out and I see Tom waiting on the bench.

"Ready guitarrista?" I ask. He laughs and I set the hat down. Tom whistles and everyone looks at us with a smile. We look at each other and nod. We start out with I Will Wait by Mumford and Sons.
