The Suitors Part 7

Moana's P.O.V

I process what Maui just did. I feel my cheek and smile. I look out at the ocean and sigh. I stare at it for hours until I grow sleepy. As I wake up I notice that I'm on my tapa mat at home. Wait a minute! How did I get here?! I walk out still confused. I look around and I walk to the beach. I see all my suitors helping pulling in fish. Someone must of noticed me because all of them except Maui come over. I feel a little overwhelmed of so many men who want to marry me come walking over.

"Good morning Moana!" All three say in unison.

"Good morning gentlemen." I say folding my hands together.

"How did you sleep?" Iokepa says.

"I slept fine, thank you for asking Iokepa." I say.

"D-did you eat breakfast yet?" Ioane stutters.

"Not yet." I answer.

"Would you care to join us for breakfast?" Iokua asks.

"I have to decline your offer. I usually have breakfast with my parents on Fridays." I say politely.

"Can't you knuckleheads see she's a little uncomfortable? Give a girl some space you goons." I hear Maui say. I look over the men and see Maui leaning his back against the tree with a foot against the trunk with his arms crossed over his chest. He smirks and the men back away. I start to walk and the men part like the sea. I walk over to Maui and stare intensely at him. I hear the men walk away and I stare harder at Maui.

"What can I do for you?" He asks calmly.

"You were the only one who knew I was at the beach." I say.

"So?" He says.

"So you were the one to brought me to my hut! Am I wrong?" I ask.

"Nope." Maui says.

"I KNEW IT!" I say. Maui looks at me confused.

"Didn't you read my note?" He asks.

"Note! What note?" I ask.

"I left it by your window." Maui says.

"I didn't see any note." I say.

Maui shrugs not moving.

"Thank you." I say. He nods and looks at the ocean.

"Moana?" He asks.

"Hmm?" I say.

"Don't think if you don't choose me I will hate you. We will still be friends." He says not looking at me.

"Maui why aren't you looking at me?" I say. Maui looks at me and sighs.

"It's nothing important." He says as finally looks me. I look at him and Maui starts to squirm. I cock a brow and he sighs.

"Well..." He starts.

"Maui?" I ask.

"The note was just some advice...and something very important for you to know." He said looking down at his feet. I look at him and someone caught my attention. It was Mini Maui. I look at him as he tries to explain. He runs up to Mini Me and shows them kissing.

"If I marry you..." I start. Then Mini runs down to the god on Maui's stomach.

"The gods will..." I go on. Then Mini runs to Maui's chest, points to himself and then to me.

"Alright! Take a hike Tiny!" Maui says as he flicks Mini Maui to his shoulder blade.

"If I marry you, the gods will make me into something?" I ask. Maui just stares at me.
