Moana's P.O.V

Another week passes by and Maui and I have grown close. I hear a knock on my door. I smile and rush to my door. I open the door and Maui smiles.

"Hi." He says.

"Hi." I say.

"Ready to go?" He asks. I smile and nod.

"Alright. Let's go." He says. I walk out and lock my apartment. Then we leave the building. We walk over to Eddy's and have breakfast. I smile and he smiles back.

"What do want to do today?" I ask.

"Walk around the city?" He asks.

"Sure. Let's go." I say. I hear Ed say something.

"Young love." He says. I blush and look at Maui. He must of not heard because he smiles at me. We walk around time square and I remember last night. On top of the ferris wheel, the fireworks...the kiss.

"Your highness!" I hear. Maui freezes up.

"Tom!" He says.

"Thank goodness I found you! I was looking for you for the past two weeks!" The guy named Tom says.

"Highness? Maui what's going on? Who is this guy? And why did he call you 'your highness'?" I ask. "

Moana...I uh." He starts but lets out a chuckle/scoff.

"You see...my full name is...well I am Prince Maui Dakarai of Raiatea." He says.

"Prince?!" I say. I think and put the pieces together. He's the missing prince the news was talking about! I'm so stupid!

"Moana, I know this is a lot but, that doesn't change how I feel about you!" Maui says as he reaches for my hand.

I back away.

"A Prince! Maui this completely changes everything! How could you keep this a secret?!" I ask.

"Moana I didn't mean to hurt you." He says. I feel tears roll down my cheeks.

"And to think...I finally found the man I was looking for." I say. Maui has a hurt look.

"Maui...I can't do this!" I say. "Moana please!" He begs as he reaches towards my face. I slap his hand away.

"Moana I-".

"I don't want to hear it!" I say.

"Maui?" A girl says. I look at her. She's very pretty and attractive. She has mocha brown skin and bright green eyes. She has a nice raven black hair.

"Te Fiti! What are you doing here?" He asks.

"I came to see my fiancé. Is that a crime?" She asks.

"Fiancé?!" I  shout.

"Moana I need you to listen." Maui says.

"No! I can't and I don't want too! I have to go." I say. I run.

"MOANA!" I hear him shout. I run as fast as I can. I rush into my apartment building. I lock my door and rush to my bedroom. I fall on my bed and cry. Why did it have to be him? I think. I cry myself to sleep.

Maui's P.O.V

"MOANA!" I shout. I start to run after her. But I'm held back.

"LET ME GO!" I shout.
