Moana's P.O.V

"Don't you ever wonder why Mother doesn't let us go outside?" I ask my older sister Rapunzel as I help brush her crazy long golden hair.

"I could ask your the same about why does she keep your hair short and mine long!" Punzie says. I sigh. Then we here chittering.

"Pascel, no!" Punzie says.

"What? What did he say?" I ask.

"He says we should ask Mother if we could see the lights for our birthday this year!" She says.

"Why not?!" I ask.

"Because she'll say no like always!" Punzie says with a sigh.

"Please!" I beg. She looks at me and sighs.

"Alright! Let's do it!" She says.

"RAPUNZEL! LET DOWN YOUR HAIR!" We hear.

"Coming!" She shouts. She runs to the window and throws her hair out the window. I help her pull. Slowly our Mother appears.

"Hello girls!" Mother says."Hello Mother!" We say.

"We both have something to say." Punzie says.

"Could it wait for a moment? I'm feeling a little down. Rapunzel could you sing for me?" She asks.

"Oh! Sure!" Punzie says. I rush and find the stool. Punzie grab the chair and pushes it. And I grab the brush and Puzie shoves her hair in Mother's lap. I hand her the brush. Then Punzie starts to sing really fast.

"Flower, gleam and glow
Let your power shine
Make the clock reverse "Wait! Wait!" Mother says. She starts to brush as Punzie comes to an end!
Bring back what once was mine!

"Rapunzel!" Mother says.

"We're just going to say that today is our birthday! Yay!" We say.

"No no! It can't be! I strictly remember that your birthday was last year!" Mother says.

"That's the funny thing about birthdays! They're kind of an annual thing!" Punzie says.

"Mother we would like to ask you something!" I say.

"Oh! And what is that?" She says.

"We really want to see the floating lights!" I say.

"Oh. You mean the stars!" Mother says as she gets up.

"That's the thing Mother!" Punzie says.

"We've been tracking stars all the time and they come out every night!" I say.

"But these! These only appear, on our birthday!" Punzie says

"Rapunzel, Moana no." She says. Then she explains that we would be defenseless and that the world is a dark and cruel and selfish place. Then she explains about ruffians and thugs with fangs. Then she leaves the tower to go back to town.

Maui's P.O.V

"Come on Flynn!" I shout. We run through the woods with the Stabbington brothers. The royal guards aren't too far behind. We run and come to a high wall.
