One Shots: Maui x Moana

Love For A Mortal Part 3

Maui's P.O.V.

Thank the gods that they made me "Demigod of the Wind and Sea." I can make it to Te Fiti in two days if I use my abilities. I tighten the sail and make the wind pick up.

"I wish Moana was here. Heck I wish Drumstick was here!" I say with a laugh. I love that goofy chicken. Too bad I didn't get to eat him on our trip. I sigh and watch the sea.

"It's so quiet and peaceful. Nothing could ruin this perfect moment." I say out loud as I close my eyes.

Whish! Thwak!

"And it just got ruined." I say as I open my eyes. I look and see a spear made out of fishbone.

"Kakamora? Seriously?!" I shout. I turn around and see that it is a small fleet ship. I can about twenty pirates on the ship. I groan.

"C'mon! I need to get to Te Fiti so I can be with the woman I love!" I groan. More spears fly and hit the mast. Many of the piartes come zip lining down to the canoe. I pull out the spears.

"There! All of them."  O say happy.

Boinkadoinkadoink!!!

Five of the coconuts come flying and toppling on my head.

"Ouch!" I groan. I spin around and throw one across the horizon. I grab two more off my back and slam them together. I growl as I see two soldiers with blow dart pipes. One fires and hits one of its men in the arm. The one on the left smacks his arm and the one on the right hides the pipe behind its back. I kick the both of them and they go flying into the distance. I look at the fleet ship with a glare and smirk.

I grab my fishhook and jump into the water. I swim up jump up into the air. The Kakmora look at me with curiosity and I shape shift into a whale. I come down with a huge splash and the ship is destroyed. I shape shift into a shark and swim back to my canoe.

"Alright! Te Fiti here I come!" I say. I say into the night. I map the stars and them I move the direction into Te Fiti.

I grab a banana and take a bite. I close my eyes for a little bit. As I wake up I hear something. I look into the storage compartment and see something.

"What the? DRUMSTICK?!" I shout.

"Bawk!" He clucks. "How did you...never mind. I hear more shifting. I look inside and see.

"PORK CHOP?" I say. It's Moana's pet pig Pua I think? It just snorts in happiness.

"What are you two doing here?" I say. They look at me and both cock their heads to the side.

"You're both supposed to be with Moana!" I scold them. Oh great! I talking to a chicken and a pig. The pig looks down I'm shame and the chicken just clucks. I sigh.

"Alright both of you are here so there's no point of turning back. I grab a papaya and spilt it in half. I take a bite out of one half and give the other to the pig. I lay out some feed for the chicken and it looks at it. It pecks at the boat and I turn it to the right a little bit.

"One day down. Six more to go." I murmer. I adjust the sail and I climb the mast. I look at the direction and I see something form in the water. I squint and see that its a long snake like monster.

"An eel?" I say. It jump out the water with razor sharp teeth and mouth wide open at me. I slide down the mast and the eel misses. I jump down and I grab my hook. The eel comes back around. I watch it closely and it comes back to grab another bite.

I swing my hook and it goes flying. I sigh and look at the storage comparetment. I see the pig but...

"Pork Chop, where's Drumstick?" I ask. It oinks. I look at the water and see two scrany legs sticking up in the air. I jump in and swim for the dumb bird. I swim back and place him with the pig. I sigh and look at the sunset.
