Kate felt all was well with the world seated in the car with Ryan. Smiling contentedly. Looking at his profile feeling how happy she was with him. The night they shared the past week still brought a warm feeling inside her. She was thankful for Ryan's understanding for having to wait even if they were almost on the verge of making love. The intimacy they had shared almost feeling as if they were as one. That wonderful moment brought out Ryan's love even more as if he was bearing a secret. That she would discoverat a rightful time.Kate had no idea what it was but a part of her was also quite anxious how it would affect her life. Cause deep down she had an inkling of what it might be.

There was also a sense of peace in Ryan. After the heart to heart talk with his father things have drastically improved. Father and son had a better relationship now with more open communication. Maybe it was the thought of losing Ryan that finally opened his father's eyes to see all his mistakes and what he was doing to him all these years. Looking at him now looking so happy all she could feel was contentment that things were going on so well for both of them.Gone were the days he would fetch her from work all stressed up from his father's overbearing ways.

He looked really handsome his dark brown hair distinctly cut with a lock falling slightly over his forehead. As he smiled at her with tenderness. It was a Saturday. Having had an early dinner as they just came from a Korean restaurant in town. The food was delicious. One they were unfamiliar with but had wanted to experiment.

You have this really heavenly smile on your face. He remarked. I wonder why.

She smiled even more. Cause I'm happy that's why. Seeing how you are these days. Looking so at peace. Getting along so well with your Dad. The good things in our relationship.... She continued. The list goes on and on.

You're right but most importantly is that I have you love. He said as kissed her by the neck tickling her.

Kate could only laugh and faked the part that she liked it. But there was no goose bumps or making her hot and bothered. It was bland again not exciting her at all. One that bothered her a great deal deep inside.

It was still the same feeling Kate felt with Ryan. She loved him so much but feeling nothing. On her side there was no passionate spark that ignited in her. Even when they almost made love where he was at his finest trying his best to please her every which way he could. She felt bothered by it and tried to ignore those nagging feelings. What if they ended up as husband and wife? Will she have to pretend passion all the time? When deep inside there was none. She felt a touch of sadness. Whatever feelings she felt she hoped it would improve. She craved that sexual chemistry in their relationship. They were almost there. She had almost given herself entirely to Ryan. But she didn't feel it was right.That's why she held back.

While with Nate it was different. Just the thoughts of him bare chested made all the goose bumps in her arms stand at alert. She remembered their time in the garage where he was all sweaty and dirty yet he was so masculine looking downright sexy to her. His shoulders broad his built lean but muscular. How his kisses set her on a fire making all the heat rise inside her. Nate did that to her. She would be lost in his arms. It would be hard to say no to him. But he was her best friend. Friendship that was all it was. Or was it really? To entertain such thoughts would be a crime. She had Ryan.
