So this is how it felt like to have a boyfriend and be in be love she thought as she waited for Ryan to come fetch her. She was blooming, it was all over her face. The glow in her eyes, the rosy flush in her cheeks. The happiness she felt when she saw Ryan. He was all good in a guy filled with devotion for her. It was almost 5 days ever since she answered him and it was only joy that she felt. Some part of her felt that maybe she had rushed into a relationship too soon, but seeing how he was with her. This time she had no doubts at all. Contrary to what Nate said, time did not measure love. As long as you felt it you would know and this is how she felt with Ryan.

Kate also felt proud to be with him. Having a rich boyfriend had its pluses. Loving to be fetched in his Porsche or his BMW every day. Enjoying the good life, taking her to beautiful restaurants. She was the envy of practically every girl in the office. Not that material things were important to Kate. She loved Ryan for who he was even without his riches. But also enjoying his way of life also excited her.

She just felt relieved to see Nate feeling much better. She had called him one time worrying about him and he even seemed to be excited over meeting Ryan. A complete turnaround from his attitude when he found out they were a couple and that she had answered Ryan. In some way it surprised Kate, how easily he had recovered. She was even curious about the girl Nate was bringing to the country club. She hoped she would like her for Nate. But what she cannot understand was that as early as now some part of her was jealous. She and Nate were only friends. He deserved to date. She had a boyfriend now but why did she feel that way? It was weird of her. She also couldn't understand her feelings herself.

All she wanted to concentrate on was Ryan, after all he was her boyfriend. Her first in fact. His days were filled with meetings lately some joint venture with some Japanese foreigners. Even if he was extremely busy he still always found the time to be with her. She knew he was pressured in his work with his overbearing father putting all his authority on him. All Kate wanted was to make the stress lighter for Ryan. She also needed to talk to him about meeting Nate which she still didn't know how to open it up.

He was a little bit late but he finally arrived, looking apologetic. As he swept her in his arms, kissing her fully on the lips as she responded back. It felt good to be in his arms.

I'm sorry I'm late. Couldn't get out of the meeting at once. The Japanese kept on rattling and rattling and I couldn't understand what they were saying. Just wanted to get to you as soon. Have you in my arms like this. He exclaimed, loving the sight of Kate in a lavender floral dress. Her hair loose framing her face. She was a mixture of innocence and sexiness that felt like a breath of fresh air to Ryan, who had been sitting in a meeting for hours.

It's okay didn't wait much. Just happy you're here. As she kissed him by the cheek fixing his hair with her fingers.

He grinned then. I look all rumpled up. The meeting was a killer. I have to go back again though. Just wanted to see you. Take a breather. He gazed lovingly at her.

She smiled back at him with love also in her eyes. You do look tired. But handsomely tired, one I will never get tired of looking. She murmured.

I love you. Ryan said quietly. So much. As he kissed her again with fervour, his eyes shining and Kate responded as their lips locked as one.

I love you too she said softly loving Ryan for all the goodness in his soul and the maturity in his ways. How good looking he was and she loved the crinkles of his eyes when he smiled.

In the car there were flowers for her, beautiful red long stemmed roses filled with other exotic flowers. He had also Swiss chocolates for her, the very expensive ones that were so hard to find. A specialty shop catered to them.
