**Chapter 21**
Friday night, 7:45 p.m. and Delilah is on the phone with her dad.
"We just can't have you here right now Delilah." Delilah's dad Jim says into the speaker.
Delilah wips the tears from her eyes. "No you and Sarah just don't want me there. You never want me there." Delilah says into the speaker.
"Now Delilah that's not true." Jim says.
"Yes it is and you know it!" Delilah screams into the phone. "You and Sarah don't want me, not even my own mother wants me! How do you think that makes me feel? Maybe all these things I've been doing is because I feel unloved and unwanted by everyone!"
"Delilah how could Sarah and I want a pregnant fifteen year old living under our roof?" Jim says rudely. "You are screwing up your life. If you can't see that then your right, I don't want you."
Delilah screams into the speaker. "Fine!" She yells. "I'll find somewhere else to live for nine months and start a new family. One that loves me and actually wants me!"
"Good, because then you can tell your child that you screwed up your life and made it so no one loves you!" Jim screams back at her. "That child is going end up just like you. A f****** wreck. It's going to have no education and end up in prison because of you Delilah!"
Delilah bites her lip until it starts to bleed.
"Don't call me again Delilah. Don't call me when your broke and need help supporting that child because I wont help"
"I don't want you help anyway!" Delilah screams back. "You will never know my child! I'll tell them how you abandoned me and the true horrible drunk person you are!" Delilah screams and slams the phone back on it's hook.
Delilah cries into her hands until she hears Sandy walking into the kitchen.
"Leave my house." She says. Delilah looks at her with tears streaming down her face.
"My child will never know you either. I'll tell them they never want to meet you because of how abusive you are." Delilah says. She meant it. If her child ever asks about it's grandparents Delilah would tell them exactly how they were.
"I would be the one to take care of the stupid thing anyway!" Sandy screams at her.
Delilah's jaw drops. "I wouldn't let you touch my child! I'm the one who has been raising the girls!"
"You liar!" Sandy smacks her in the face. Delilah knows it will leave an angry red mark behind. "I feed and cloth all of you!"
"What else do you do?" Delilah asks venomously. "I put them to bed and get them ready for eveything. I make sure they get their homework done and have everything ready for school!" Sandy goes to slap her again but Delilah doges her.
"You slut!"
Delilah can't help laughing at this which furriated Sandy even more.
"I've had sex once!" Delilah says and picks up her suitcase that sits by the front door. "Your the one who has gotten abortion after abortion and has three baby daddies! And you have the nerve to call me a slut? You don't even know who Dawn's father is!"
"I never got an abortion!"
"Don't even try to lie to me." Delilah gave up screaming at Sandy. "You got four abortions before Emmy was born, maybe even more. And don't even try and tell me you are any better than me because Granny told me you had an abortion and miscarriage when you were sixteen!"
"And I shouldn't have stopped there either!" Sandy screams at the top of her lungs. "I should have aborted you as well! I would have if your stupid father wouldn't have stopped me!"
