"Charlotte Lillian Bara, you are not fine!"
I laughed.
"It's literally just a little break. What'd you expect? I fell from the top of the Gershwin stage! That's a long way to fall, Addie!"
She groaned.
"Of course you got a white one you fucking dork."
I smirked.
"Do you think they'll let me audition for Dear Evan Hansen now?"
She spun on her heels to face me.
"Are you serious right now?!"
I shrugged.
Darren came through the apartment doors.
"Charlotte! Addie called me are you ok?!"
I rolled my eyes.
"I'm perfectly fine. I wanted to audition for Dear Evan Hansen next and I figured I'd get deeper into character."
He ran his hand over his face.
"Why is everyone flipping out? It's just my arm. I can still perform! Ben Platt performs with a cast on every night!"
Darren groans.
"That's not funny!"
I shrug.
"It kinda is."
Addie shook her head.
"Fell from the goddamn Gershwin..."
I laughed at her mumbling.
"Please just be careful, Charlotte. Please, please, please don't do anything to make it worse."
I nodded.
"Yes ma'am."
She gave my unbroken hand a squeeze and flew out the door.
"You are so clumsy, Charlotte good lord."
