"You're doing it wrong, Charlotte."
I growl at nothing.
"Shut up!"
Everyone turns their heads to look at me, but I ignore them.
Just do the fucking move.
Left foot.
Right foot.
I trip over my own feet.
"I told you, you were doing it wrong."
I stand up from the floor.
"Lauren can I take a break?"
I ask, ignoring her answer and walking out the door.
The door slams behind me.
I stand against it, sliding down and putting my head on my knees.
"You don't listen to me. I'm feeding you valuable advice here and you're ignoring it."
I groan.
"You're being a dick is what you're doing."
I talk to the air.
People walk by me, staring and judging but I don't care.
"Why are you even still trying?"
She paused.
"What are you gaining from all of this?"
I closed my eyes, leaning my head back to touch the door.
"Go back to France. Jessie needs you. You seem to forget that your brother is fucking missing!"
I shake my head.
"I can't."
"Why?"
"Because I can't!"
I shout, startling the people walking in front of me.
"Why not?"
I sigh, putting my head back on my knees.
"Because I'm just...Charlotte. I can't even tell my husband about my abusive stalker father. How am I going to find my brother?"
She hummed.
"Have you even started looking?"
I stand up.
"Where do I need to start?"
She laughs.
"Look who's finally coming around."
