I bolt upright.

Tears fall down my face slowly.

I quickly wipe them away as Darren stirs in his sleep.

"Morning Char."

I put a bright smile on my face and glance at the calendar.

"Holy crap, D!"

I jump out of bed, stumbling to my closet.

"What?"

He asks, sitting up and yawning.

I throw open the closet doors and pull out an old black dress.

"It's June 11th!"

He shrugs.

"So?"

I nod to the calendar with the date circled maybe a hundred times with different colored markers.

"So today is Tony day!"

I shout, checking the time.

His eyes widen.

He shoots up from the bed and jumps up and down like a kid in a candy shop.

Today might actually be ok.

Today will be ok.

I am ok.

Today will be ok.

I race to grab my phone and call Addie.

I pause.

"So you got what you always wanted? So you got your dream come true? Good for you. Good for you."

I shake my head and type in her number.

She answers within two rings.

"Charlotte..."

"Addison..."

There is a pause before we both squeal loudly in unison.

Darren mumbles a curse and sighs.

I hear Oak yell from the other side of the phone.

We both burst into laughter.

Today might be a good day.

"Who's place this time?"

I ask.

She fumbles around with things on the other end.

"Oh! This year we planned to get ready at the theater."

I squeal and nod.

"Ok. See you in about twenty minutes."

She hangs up and i finish getting ready.

Addie stands in front of the Richard Rodgers theater when we get there.

I sneak a look directly across the street at the Music Box theater.

I smile and blow a kiss to it.

It's become a thing.

I blow kisses to the buildings.
