The study group is long gone. RJ and Menggay sit in a corner of Mcdonald's while they fill each other with five years worth of stories.
He asks, "Nga-a wala ka nagpabalo nga UP ka man gali?"
"Huya ko sa imo."
"Kay nga-a haw?"
"Basi hambalon mo nga ginasundan ta ka."
RJ's ears turn red.
"May nobyo ka na?"
"Ha?" She asks.
"Ha?" He echoes. "Gapamangkut lang."
"Wala."
"Atong kagina?"
"Ah, si Ricky. Wala to. Classmate lang."
"Ga sandig sandig guid siya sa imo. Gapangaluyag?"
"Basi. Ambot a. Wala ko kabalo."
"Hmmm. Diin ka ga-istar?"
"Sa dorm. Sa Molave."
"Ano oras start sang classes mo?"
"Lain-lain. May subjects ko nga 7AM."
"Okay, ma breakfast ta 6."
"Ha?"
"Ha?"
"Dali lang gid."
"Dasig haw?"
"Huo."
"Preno ko anay?"
"May ginalagas ka?"
He raises an eyebrow and looks at her straight in the eyes.
"Puede maglagas?"
She giggles and slaps his hand.
"Nasunlog mo ko, RJ. Hahahhaa."
He laughs too. Then he pauses.
"Sadya guid ko nga nagkit-anay ta liwat."
She has a little smile as she says in a small voice "Ako man."
Filipino Version

"Hiya ako sa 'yo."
"Bakit?"
"Baka sabihin mong sinusundan kita."
RJ's ears turn red.
"May boyfriend ka na?"
"Ha?" She asks.
"Ha?" He echoes. "Nagtatanong lang."
"Wala."
"E yung kanina?"
"Ah, si Ricky. Wala yun. Classmate lang."
"Sumasandal-sandal pa siya sa 'yo e. Nanliligaw?"
"Baka. Ewan ko. Hindi ko alam."
"Hmmm. Saan ka nakatira?"
"Sa dorm. Sa Molave."
"Anong oras start nang classes mo?"
"Iba-iba. May subjects ako na 7AM."
"Okay, mag breakfast tayo ng 6."
"Ha?"
"Ha?"
"Sandali lang."
"Mabilis ba?"
"Oo."
"Preno muna ako?"
"May hinahabol ka?"
He raises an eyebrow and looks at her straight in the eyes.
"Puedeng humabol?"
She giggles and slaps his hand.
"Ikaw RJ ha. Niloloko mo ko. Hahahhaa."
He laughs too. Then he pauses.
"Masaya akong nagkita tayo ulit."
She has a little smile as she says in a small voice "Ako rin."
