RJ though, gets chubbier.
One night, when they start to sleep, she hears the sound of ripping plastic. She turns on the lamp and catches RJ with a crinkle in his mouth.
"Wowoooowooahhejeohieis" he mumbles.
"RJ! Nga-a ga kaon ka?"
"Hindeeee, subong lang kay nagutom ko."
She eyes him suspiciously.
"Patan-awa ko bag mo."
"Ha?"
"Tan-aw ko bag mo."
RJ shows her his bag. He has crinkles, polvoron, shingaling, peanuts and Oishi.
"Ikaw ha." She confiscates his loot.
He brushes his teeth and goes back to bed.
RJ spoons Menggay and kisses her cheek.
"Menggay, mag toothbrush ka."
"Ha?"
"Toothbrush ka. Pila ka Oishi gin kaon mo?"
"Hala!" She pinches his tummy. "Wala ko nag kaon Oishi ha."
"Tuod?"
"Pero namit guid tong shingaling."
