They are outside waiting for a jeepney when a gold Lambo Huracan screeches in front.
"Maine, hatid na kita." It's Ricky.
"Bro, taga LGV ako, malapit lang sa UP," he tells RJ through the car window.
"Sige na RJ. Maupod na lang ko sa iya. Layo ka pa." Menggay tiptoes and kisses him on the cheek.
RJ watches the sports car speed away.
In the middle of the road, the Lambo sputters and stops.
RJ motions for the cigarette vendor and the men lounging on the street. He goes to the car and tells Menggay to go out.
"Tulungan ka na namin" he tells a red-faced Ricky.
RJ, the cigarette vendor and the tambays push the gleaming Lambo to the side of Quezon Ave.
He then goes to the driver's window, "Pa'no bro. Mauna na kami ni Maine."
RJ rushes to Menggay, places his hand on her back and whispers to her ear "Dul-ong ta na ka."
