Chapter 6: HIS Family

(BATTERSON'S POV)

This was maybe one of the most stressful days Ive experienced so far. Pakatapos ko magshoot ng bagong commercial dumiretso ako pauwi pero bigla akong nagutom kaya huminto ako sa 7 11. I wore my leather jacket, shades and bonnet for me not to be recognized. Handa nakong bumili nang bigla akong may mabanggang nerd. I find her so irritating, she kept on screaming and she recognized me that's why I dragged her outside to God knows where. To sum everything up, I kissed her only to make her shut up. But regretted it after she kicked me where it hurts the most.

I just can't believe of what she did, usually pagnalaman ng mga tao na ako si Batterson Elmundo the initial reaction would be stunned. But she was different, she didn't even care that I am who I am. It pissed me off but at the same time amused me.

I groan. Sinubukan kong gumalaw sa kama ko pero masakit padin doon kung san niya ko sinipa. I groan harder whan I heard my cellphone rang. But me being me, hinayaan ko munang tumunog ito ng medyo matagal.

"Yes?" i said

"Finally! Akala ko hindi mo na sasagutin eh" I sigh "What's up?" tanong ni ate ng hindi ako sumagot.

"Exhausted and I was about to sleep when you called"

"Aww baby brother, masyado ka kasing hardworking kaya kinukulang ka na ng tulog" she mockingly told me

"Ate, ano bang kailangan mo?" I snapped

"Don't get pissed" she chuckles

"Spill it out" sabi ko sakanya na ikinatawa niya naman ulit

"Hey, Erson" biglang sumeryoso ang boses nya. People who are close to me usually call me Erson. "Are you ready?"

"Yep" I popped the p. I smirked I know what she's talking about.

" Im just worried, you can just say... no?"

" Stop worrying, Mom" I mockingly told her. I can practically called her mom since she's the one who took good care of me after Mom died 7 years ago because of cancer.

" I just don't know when would Dad really stop. Ginawa niya tong arranged marriage sakin and then naman ngayon sayo" she's now married to Edmund. Sa una, arranged marriage lang talaga but then she fell in love. Falling in love with Edmund and giving birth to Chino were only the good things that happened out of that arranged marriage.

"Jiêjiê" i sighed. Mahinahon kong sabi sakanya.

"Ok,ok!" I can imagine her rolling her eyes on me. "Anyways, to make you feel a little bit better. I heard that she's nice"

"Ok"

"Hey!" nilayo ko yung cellphone sa tenga ko dahil sa sigaw ni Ate Chin. "Just promise to be good, okay? Ayoko ng tono ng papasalita mo" I chuckle

"Batterson Chan!" sigaw ulit niya. "Next week na natin siya makikilala, sa inarranged na dinner ni Papa. Just promise me that you are going to behave well, please?"

"Expect me to be in my best attitude on that dinner" pakatapos nun binaba ko na yung telepono. I smirked.I am ready to make the life of that girl a living hell.

(A/N: Batterson Chan ang real name ni Batt kasi half Chinese siya yung father niya Chinese. Batterson Elmundo ang gamit niya kasi gamit niya yung surname ng mama niya for screen name, oh gets nyo na? hahaha)
