Sad news.... IT's near to an end...
Eddie was watching TV, but he didn't really looked interested about the show, he sporadically closed his eyes in the intent to sleep and woke up suddenly.
It was a boredom, at the level of a boring day, the one that not only you decide to be quiet but also your entire street.
Eddie, then, surrendered to the "Sleeping God" and slept on the couch.
"OUCH!" he heard someone screaming.
He suddenly woke up, and looked around.
There was Richie, agonizing in pain.
"ffff.... FFFFUCK!" he said, holding his foot.
He quickly ran over to Richie and comforted him.
"What happened, honey?"
"I just experienced one of the worst pains in the world..."
"Jesus, what?"
"I tapped my little finger on that stupid chair!"
"Oh.... ouch... Let me see."
Richie removed his hand and let Eddie see the wound. It was completely swollen, looked like it had broken.
"Hmm..." Eddie said, getting up. "Wait here, I'll grab some ice."
"And how would I get out of here?" Said Richie.
Eddie went to the kitchen, opened the freezer, grabbed some ice, He put a cloth around, and went back into the living room.
"Here." Eddie said, handing Richie the cloth with ice.
"Thanks." Richie said, giving a small smile.
Richie put the ice on the wound, hesitated a bit before, but managed to put.
Eddie was by his side, stroking his hair.
"You should pay more attention." He said.
"Yeah, I should." Richie said.
"Do you want me to take you to the hospital?"
"No, it's getting better... I'm fine."
"Are you sure? It may have broken a bone there, and it stuck something, it gives you infection, you can lose your finger, and-"
"I said... I'm fine." Richie said.
"I'm sorry... I'm just... worried about you." Eddie said, resting his head on his shoulder.
"Sometimes you don't need to... It's just a small thing."
"Really? From the way you reacted to it, it wasn't."
"It was, believe me."
"Yeah, I know..." Eddie said, sarcastically.
"But I thank you... For doing it. Worrying about me." He said, turning to Eddie. "I really mean it."
Eddie blushed and smiled.
Richie kissed his head and said "I'm so lucky to call you mine."
"Me too, I love you..." He said.
