Even though he recognized the voice, Richie had his pistol ready, and Eddie with his hand on the knife, ready to attack. In times like this, no one can be trusted.

As the person approached, the bonfire lighting increased in its silhouette, slowly revealing some details of its appearance. She was wearing a jacket, with the hood over her head, and underneath it, a Freeses shirt, similar to one that Richie wore in her pre-teens, her pants were worn, as were her shoes.

- Please. I don't want to hurt anyone. - Said the person, hands up and approaching cautiously.

- You know how it is. - Richie said, with the gun aimed at the person. - Security measures.

- I understand. I just want to make it clear. - Said the person, slowly bending down and sitting down.

- May we know who you are? - Eddie said. - We thought you were a friend of ours.

The stranger had her hands extended to the fire, warming herself. She swallows dry, and takes off her hood.

She was a girl with brown hair tied up, her face was thin, with freckles, brown eyes.

- My name... - She says reluctantly. - is Ellie... my name is Ellie.

- Well, Ellie. - Richie says, putting the gun in his pants. - My name is Richard. Richie.

- And mine is Eddie.

- Nice to meet you. - She said, a little calmer. - Sorry for scaring you back then.

- No problem. - Eddie said. - Where are you from?

- I'm from Boston. - said Ellie. - I ended up coming to Maine on a trip... baaad choice.

Richie gave a light laugh, followed by Eddie.

- Lots of luck. - Said Richie. - Are you coming from Derry?

- Actually, it was a trip through Maine, I stayed a few days in Bangor, then in Portland and then I came to Derry. I didn't have a specific city. I tried to leave when it all started but they closed the borders... the entire Maine is ... fucked.

- We noticed that. - Said Eddie, looking at Richie, who looked back at him.

- Are you also trying to leave? I hope I didn't discourage you.

- No... we're looking for some friends of ours, we left Derry at the beginning of everything and they stayed. - Eddie takes some photos from his backpack and hands them to Ellie. - Do you know them?

Ellie looked at the photos, and one in particular caught her eye. It was a red-haired girl with short hair, blue eyes and freckles on her face, in the photo, she was smiling and appeared to be pointing at a giant statue.

- This girl. - Ellie said. - I know her, I saw her these days ago.

- Oh really?! Is she still there?

- Yes... well, I think so. It's... Beverly, isn't it?

- IS. - Said Richie. - How did you meet her?

- She helped me fight some looters around the area, she was accompanied by another boy.

- It must be Ben. - Eddie said.

- Ben. Yeah. He gave this to me.

She took a pocketknife from her backpack and showed it to them.

- Said it would be a memory, so I don't forget them. And well, as you may see... I haven't forgotten. - She said, smiling slightly.

Richie looked at Eddie, he had tears in his eyes. He came to his side and hugged him.

- They're alive, Richie. - Eddie said. - They're alive!

- We will find them, babe.

Richie goes back to Ellie, who was still looking at the photos, in fact, she was just covering it up so as not to spoil the moment.

- Ellie?

- Yes?

- Would you like to come with us? - Said Tozier.

Ellie smiles.

- Are you sure about that?

Richie looks at Eddie, who nods.

- Yes. Welcome to the Losers' Club.

- Excuse me, what? - Ellie said, laughing.

- Yeah... it's a long story. - said Eddie. - Veeery long.

A/N.: Couldn't help myself but put a little crossover in it :)
