Tuesday, 9:00 p.m.
Eddie was in bedroom, and I was downstairs watching a horror movie (which wasn't that "horror")
Suddenly all the lights went out.
"Greaaat" I mumbled. "In 3... 2... 1" (ICarly opening theme, jk 😂)
"RICHIEEEE!" he screamed.
As I imagined" I mumbled, getting up. "Coming!"
I picked up my cellphone and turned on the flashlight mode.
I went upstairs and there was him, Eddie Kaspbrack, on the bed, in fetal position, covering his eyes with his hands.
"Ya know..." I said. "With or without the hands doesn't make difference, in case you didn't notice it, it's dark, and closing your eyes is not going to work." I said.
He slowly removed his hands from his face and looked at me, startled.
"Still afraid of the dark, Kaspbrack?"
"You know why..." He muttered.
"Aw..." I said, getting closer to him.
I sat beside him on the bed and hugged him and held him.
"Don't worry, there are no monsters here... Not anymore."
"I'm sorry, I-"
"Shh... No need to be sorry, it's okay to be afraid of the dark, I was kidding."
He sighed and leaned his head on my chest.
"Do you know when it will come back?"
"What?"
"The light"
"No... But not now, I'm afraid."
As soon as I said this, the energy came back.
"Oh, you gotta be kidding me."
Eddie giggled and got up.
"Now you can go back to your movie."
"No, I won't... It's probably over now, and to be honest, it wasn't that good."
"Really?"
"Yeah."
"Richie..."
"Yes?"
"Thanks for... You know... Coming."
"No problem, honey... Why shouldn't I come?" I said, hugging him.
He smiled.
"Have I told you today that I love you?"
"Oh yes... A million times."
"I love you... A million plus one."
"Haha..." I laughed sarcastically. "I love you too, Kaspbrack." I said, kissing him.
