once they arrived the island, ara clung onto taehyung's sleeve again as they did their way out of the ship. even if the chances of running into someone or being caught were really low, taehyung would always look around just in case, it was like a reflex action.

the air was fresh, it definitely was different from the one in the city. it smelled like salt and sea, taehyung loved it. even the air was lighter.

ara dragged him around and he complied without even asking. he couldn't care less about what they were going to do in there, he was just happy that he was with her.

"seonsaengnim... aren't you asking what are we doing here?" she asked with a mischiveous tone. taehyung narrowed his eyes and shrugged.

"tell me."

"aigoo... you're no fun, can you guess?"

"eating fish?"

"you want that?" she asked, eyes sparkling. taehyung wasn't sure, he just figured out that that was what people would do there.

"only if you want." her cheeks again blushed, she thought she would have applied more makeup that day so taehyung wouldn't notice her constant blushing.

"aniyo... we're going to the gazer, kaja." she said dragging him towards the bay. taehyung smiled as he followed her. from there the sea view was spectacular, better than the one they had on the ship.

"wow..." she exclaimed once they reached the top of it. taehyung stood next to her and marveled at the view. it was really beautiful, there was a mix of colors in the sky that contrasted perfectly with the sea colors.

he noticed the girl remained silent next to him, eyes lost in the view. he couldn't help but think how unpredictable she was. that was the second time he would get lost in her as she would get lost in the landscape in front of her.

"if you stare at me like that people will notice seonsaengnim." taehyung jumped at her words and quickly looked around conciously, but nobody was really looking at them. she laughed and turned to look at him.

"i am hungry." she said with a sweet smile then. taehyung couldn't get mad at her, even if he tried. he shook his head in disapproval as he turned her around and opened the backpack she carried.

as he took out the bag of snacks he bought for them she got excited at the view of a seagull that landed on one rock in the middle of the sea. "omo look at that!" she exclaimed pointing at the white bird eating something from the rock. "oohh... amazing." she muttered.

taehyung couldn't help but think how funny it was, she would get hype and her eyes would sparkle for the most trivial thing. he opened one of the banana milks and gave it to her. "drink." he simply said.

ara took the small bottle from his hands, eyes still on the seagull that seemed pretty lost in whatever it was eating. "what do you think it's eating?" she asked tilting her head. taehyung frowned.

"fish... probably a dead one." ara turned her head slowly, looking at him with a tragic face that taehyung couldn't ignore. he chuckled at the cute expression and brought her close to him for a hug.

"aigoo... i didn't mean to hurt your heart." she looked up at him, still between his arms and pouted.

taehyung's heart raced at the girl's charms and squeezed her between his arms. "they need to eat whatever they find since they can't swim." he said between laughs, she turned to look at the seagull and sighed.
