The city was chaotic as usual. The traffic was convulsed during autumn curiously. That was the only good thing about this, it was autumn again. The streets were covered in dead leafs although some of them still hung from the almost dead branches in the trees. If seeing from an aerial view, the city would look like it had a red, brown and orange carpet on the streets.
A cold breeze crawled up the body. It was cold, maybe too much for his liking. He could hear voices around and then nothing. A deadly silence. Then the beeps, the annoying beeps that won't shut up.
It felt like the head was being pulled underwater. Trying to move his legs and arms but it was in vain, he just couldn't move. He wanted to open his eyes but it was a difficult task as well. Even to open his mouth seemed like an impossible thing to do. He knew he had taken for granted all these things before.
He breathed in and counted to ten. He remembered someone has said this to him once. Whenever feeling desperate or angry or lost just settle down and count to ten.
                              One.
He could feel someone moving around. He wanted to scream for help but it was pointless.
                              Two.
He wondered if they could see him?
                              Three.
Was he real? He was so confused, where was he? Why people weren't helping him?
                              Four.
He felt something hurting at the back of his throat.
                              Five.
Memories started flashing, he suddenly felt his whole body shaking, maybe it was the cold, just maybe.
                              Six.
The beeps around him accelerated. It was an annoying noise at this point. He just wanted to silence them.
                              Seven.
A sweet smile appeared on his mind. He could see a pair of hands combing his hair and giving him food. Mom?
                              Eight.
Someone pushing him away, yelling at him, cutting his arms.
                              Nine.
A pair of dark eyes. A red haired pony tail. A golden necklace with a golden seed. The smell of peaches. The most beautiful smile he had seen.
                              Ten.
He felt how his eyes opened slowly. The bright light almost blinded him. He was so confused about what was happening. He saw a woman dressed in white rushing out of the white room. The smell of flowers next to him made him feel sick. He always hated the smell of roses. He tried to move his body but still couldn't, but he could see the room now. It looked like a clinic.
A few seconds later two women rushed inside the room with a man behind them. It looked like they were nurses and the man was a doctor. He stood next to him and grabbed his face between his hands, his lips moved but he couldn't listen to the words he was saying. The man looked at the nurses and yelled something.
Taking out a small flashlight he put it right on his eyes, he shook his head since the bright light made him feel dizzy. The man who now looked really familiar turned to the machines that were making those annoying beeps. The beeps were the only thing he could hear.
The doctor talked again but he couldn't hear him. He felt how the place where he was lying, supposedly a bed, was moving. He felt his body being pulled upwards. He was now slightly sitting. The doctor was checking him and the beeps became louder as the doctor's voice slowly became audible.
