XLVIII : Practice, last day

MATT

Today marks the last day of our practice for tomorrow's performance.

Yes, today is Sunday pero nagpa-practice pa rin kami.

Napagka sunduan kasi ng buong club na ie-spend ang weekend for practice para mas makabisado ang lahat ng gagawin.

I also have memorized all of the songs I am going to sing tomorrow.

Peter and I have practiced inside the theater, he taught me all of the things I need to learn and all the things I need to do while I perform.

Yes, it has been a hard time for me but I did my best.

Sana ay maging maayos lang nga ang performance ko bukas. Hindi ko naman kailangang mag-worry sa grouped performance para bukas because I know na kaya nila, I am worried about my performance.

"Okay! Let's take a quick break, guys." Dinig kong sabi ni Peter sa amin.

Sama-sama na kasi kaming lahat ngayon bilang ito na daw ang last day of practice namin.

I was about to walk towards the bench when someone I don't want to see went in front of me. Kaagad ko siyang inirapan at iniwasan.

"Talk to me, Matt." He said but I didn't do what he said.

Bakit siya nandito?

He shouldn't be here. Matapos nang lahat nang mga sinabi niya sa akin? Who would want to talk to someone who called you names and accused you of something you didn't do?

"Matt." Sabi niya sa akin matapos niya akong hawakan sa kamay.

I didn't know why but it could have been my instinct. I backed away my hand from his grip.

"D-Don't." I said as I looked at him.

Natigilan siya.

"A-Are you afraid of me now?" He asked but I didn't answer or say anything.

"Why would you not talk to me now?" Liam asked.

Yes, it's Liam.

After the day where the two of us had that harsh conversation, I distanced myself from him. I didn't talk to him, I avoided him until today.

"Liam, just go away." I finally managed to say.

Liam was about to say something again when Peter showed from no where.

"What's the problem here?" He asked.

"Nothing/It's none of your business." Sabay na sagot namin ni Liam.

Peter seemed to not mind what Liam said and instead, looked at him and smiled.

"Very well, then. If there's no problem here, Matt? Let's go?" He said.

"And where are you going?" Liam asked in annoyance.

I looked at him in confusion but answered Peter anyway, "I'll be there in a minute, Pres." I said.

Peter just nodded his head and started to go where the others are. I, on the other hand, looked at Liam.

"Liam, let's not talk today." I said to him, "let's talk tomorrow. I promise, I'll talk to you." I said and left him alone.

"Let's not talk today. Let's talk tomorrow. I promise, I'll talk to you." Matt said to me before leaving.
