Amy's POV

I was sat on my bed, scrolling through my contacts, looking for one in particular. I found his name under the B tab.

I clicked on his name, opening our messages. I noticed that the last time I actually talked to him was in March. It was now December.

Heyyyy Brooklyn!

I waited for a reply for what felt like hours. Finally, his typing bubble popped up.

- Heyyyy, Amy! It's been ages! How are you and your Mom?

We're doing great. I have a favor to ask.

- Sure, what is it?

Okay wait. First things first, are you single?

- AMY, HONEY, I AM YOUR  C O U S I N

NO, NOT FOR ME EW. FOR A FRIEND

- OH, OKAY GOOD. YEAH I'M SINGLE

So I have this friend, who's just got out of a relationship but she doesn't want to go to Prom alone and I kinda already told her that I know of someone so what do ya say, my favorite cousin (:

- You don't have to sweet-talk me 😂 Anything for my little cous.

We're the same age, Brooklyn.

- Yeah, but you're short

-.-

- Love you little cous!

Love you too

I closed our messages and went straight to Rachel's messages.

Okay so I have the guy ready lol

- That sounds so creepy pls never say that again

Oops 😂

- I'll tell Tori.

With that, I locked my phone, only a second later, it lit up in my hand.

1 New Message from Brooklyn.

- Wait, who am I taking to prom?

I unlocked my phone and replied.

My friend Haley, she goes to my school

- Oh, well when can I meet her?

Oh, wait I didn't think of that, hold on

I messaged Rachel.

- No problem :)

I went back to messaging Brooklyn.
