** Third person view, JJ's old house **

JJ was curled up in a small ball, unable to move. Her body was frozen with cold, as she waited either for rescue, or for death. Her eyelids were heavy, unable to stay open. Will had abused her once more, violated her body, destroyed her. To JJ, there really was nothing left.

** Reid's POV **

We drive to the house, and I sprint into the house, yelling.

"JJ! JJ!"

There comes no answer, and I hear the team search the house. They can't find her anywhere.

We're about to leave, when I remember something JJ told me.

** Flashback **

JJ swung round in her chair with laughter in her eyes.

"Spence, if there was ever a hurricane, I'm safe. I've got my own storm shelter, you know. One of the perks of the house, that is. How about you?"

"Statistically, there are hardly any hurricanes that occur in the DC area, but my apartment complex has a storm shelter, too."

"Guys wait, she has a storm shelter. It's somewhere in her back yard."

"Let's go!" Hotch calls out, and we run round to the back.

"JJ?" Echoes all around as we enter the shelter.

Blood stains the floor as we reach the bottom of the stairs, and panic sets in. I don't care about the others, I just want to find my love.

"JJ! JJ! JENNIFER!" I cry as I run from room to room.

How big does a storm shelter get? Suddenly, I hear a groan from the room next door. It's JJ, and she doesn't sound well.

My heart drops to the floor as I enter the room. Even without light I can see her small frame curled up in a ball, her hair caked with her own blood, her cheeks stained with her own tears.

"JJ?" I whisper, scared that she wasn't going to respond.

Her head moves ever so slightly, and I can see the pain she's in.

"I need an ambulance NOW!" I shout.

"It's going to be alright, Jaydge. You're safe now, and Emily's safe, and Will will go to prison. He's in custody in hospital."

JJ tries to say something but I tell her to rest and the paramedics come. One of them touches her shoulder and suddenly she jumps, pushing them out of the way.

"Don't touch me." She says, shaking with fear.

"Ma'am, we need to get you to a hospital." The doctor says calmly.

"Stay away from me." She cries and curls up in the corner of the room.

Blood drips from a wound, but she doesn't seem to care.

"Jaydge, please. They aren't going to harm you."

"Leave me alone." She shouts.

The doctor comes to talk to me.

"Sir, we need to get her to a hospital, or she'll bleed out."

"Do it." I say, even though I know she's going to scream out.

I can't lose her, I still haven't told her how I feel. The doctor swiftly picks her up, despite her screaming, and straps her on to a stretcher. She struggles against the straps until she finally gives up and sobs.

She's silent on the way to hospital, and stares at the roof of the ambulance. I can't even hold her hand. She's so damaged, I worry whether she will ever be the same.
