"When is mom gonna be home?" Morgan asked Kristina as wheeled him on his bike into the garage to park it. "I'm not sure." She informed him. "But she should be home anytime." She looked down at her phone to check the time. "She was just running a few errands this morning." Morgan smiled and got off his bike. "Alright mom. I have to pee. I'll be right back." He said and ran inside. Thanks for that massive piece of important information, She thought to herself with a chuckle.
Just before he came back, Parker pulled into the driveway...well sort of. "Babe!" Kristina said as she walked up to the driver's side window. Parker rolled it down so she could hear what her wife was saying. "Where did you get all of this?" She was asking. Parker smiled at the smaller woman who was now standing on the step you used to climb in to the truck. "I had an idea for family vacation." She stated. "What do you think?" Kristina shook her head but laughed. "I think your son is gonna lose his damn mind. How much did those cost?" She asked pointing to the cargo being pulled on the trailer that Parker had in tow. The blonde smiled awkwardly. "Okay, before you freak out," She said as she made a waving signal to Kristina to signal for her to get down so she could exit the vehicle. "They were on sale for a pair. Believe it or not, I paid less than a grand for both of them." Kristina shook her head. "Woman, I love you. But you better never claim to be the responsible one again." She moved out of the way and Parker got out. "Deal," She agreed, kissing the brunette. Just then they heard a thud. They turned around to find Morgan standing there with his bike helmet at his feet. "MOM!!!!!! ARE THOSE FOUR WHEELERS????"

Kristina was sitting in the passenger seat when she turned around to face the backseat of the truck. "He was so excited to go on this trip too." She said, acknowledging the sleeping boy. "It's alright." Parker said as she let go of her wife's hand to switch into low gear. They were going off road now and she needed both hands on the wheel. "He can take a nap in the truck while we," She said pausing, noticing the look on Kristina's face. "Or I, set up camp. When he wakes up, we'll eat." Kristina pulled herself into the middle seat and put her head on the blonde's shoulder. "Sounds good to me. Are we almost there?" Parker nodded as they hit a rather large bump. She checked on Morgan and then Kristina. "Sorry babe. We had to go through the creek to get to the other side." She said with a smile. "Yeah, I bet." Kristina said as she rolled her eyes. "You know damn well you just wanted to play in the truck." Parker kissed the top of her head. "Darlin, you know me so well." She joked as she finally put the truck in park. "You gonna sit in the truck with him or are you gonna help me out." Parker asked, poking Kristina's nose. "He should be fine. You set up the tent and I'll get everything else out." She told her wife as she grabbed the cooler and got out. "Yes ma'am!" Parker said before kissing her sleeping boy on his cheek and grabbing his sleeping bag.
